Anybody else had their membrane stripped? Successful??
So I'm 40+4 today with my second. Due date was August 1st. Went in for my last & final prenatal checkup today and my doc measured me at 3-4 centimeters dilated & 80% effaced. He also stripped my membrane, but it didn't feel like he did anything. Just wondering if anybody else has been through this same situation and did it work? How far along and dilated were you? How long after stripping of membrane did labor start? How long did your labor last? I'd like to hear stories. I'm just tired of waiting and want to deliver this baby already!! Lol. Btw, I've been 3-4 dilated and 80% effaced since 38 Weeks.
