help! need advice on bring on labor.

So I am due on the 30th, and have been having contractions for weeks and I'm getting very impatient and exhausted. My doctor is very opinionated and uses intimidation to control the appointments. (I live in a small town with one ob office and they won't let me switch) I've tried to talk to her about induction, ways to ready my body and got no where with her. I just need some reassurance and some info on what i can do to get labor to progress.
