Hmm that's curious! Let us know the results. Sometimes a regular OB will see something "slightly" abnormal just because of the quality of their machine or this or that and a perinatologist thinks it's normal. I have an immune disease so thats why I've had the biophysical profile - I go on Friday to get another one done even though they've all been normal so far. THey usually produce fairly good 3D pics for you!
Let me know how it turns out for you!
yes well I didnt know it went that far in depth into the cord and everything. I have one scheduled for this Thursday. On my last visit the Dr told me that the babys heart rate was slightly off and she was producing more urine than she could put out. So she wanted to look further into. I'm just wondering what the out come may be
I have had a biophysical profile done this pregnancy - it was just a sonogram done by a perinatologist that measured lots of indepth things - the way the blood moved through the cord, the kidney functioning of the baby, how the blood flowed into its brain, how the chambers of the heart were moving, etc.
Is that what you mean?
