I am just starting week 15 and I had trouble with nausea and heartburn/reflux in my first trimester but never actually got sick.  Now when I am feeling better overall and eating more I have had nausea and reflux that sneaks up on me and I have been sick 2 times in this week alone!  My mood swings are fewer but still volital when I do have them. I am just counting the days/weeks till I can find out if it is a boy or a girl!

Ok, so has anyone's first trimester symptoms made a comeback after giving you a break?  For the past week or so, I have been feeling pretty good - less heartburn/nausea/overall ickiness.  But, then yesterday I started feeling those symptoms again and have felt them today for the most part, too.  I am 17w1d and thought for sure I was well into the "feeling good" part of the 2nd trimester - but apparently I was wrong.  Grr.  Anyone else have pesky symptoms that have gone and come back to haunt you?  This is also my first pregnancy, so I don't know what to expect, but I do know that all pregnancies are different, so I am sure I have nothing to worry about - just stuff to complain a little about ;-)

In other news - I only have 16 days to go 'til we go in for our big sonogram & find out the sex!  Yippee! :-)

I just had my 16 week appointment today (I am 16w3d).  I heard the heartbeat again, it was about 140-145, and everything seems to be going well.  I have gained 8 pounds so far, which they said was right on track.  My nausea and heartburn seems to be a lot better, but only just started getting better at the end of last week and during this week, so anyone else still suffering, don't give up - it'll likely get better - just might take some time.  Now I usually just have heartburn and/or nausea discomfort in the evenings and I can't get comfortable when I sleep.  My legs feel slightly crampy through the night no matter how I lay.  But, other than that, everything seems to be going well and we go in 3 weeks from today, July 16, for our big sonogram where we find out the sex!  Yeah!  :-)

I am trying to hold out on finding out the sex. I have a girl already, and I really have no preference, so it would be a nice surprise.  I had a scan at 16 weeks and near the end I was wavering, but I didn't ask.  I am hoping I can make it through the 20 week scan without giving in!

Thanks, mikaleen!  I'm hoping you are right..I'd love to feel well enough to enjoy this experience :)  I'm glad to hear you are feeling better at your 16th week ...June 29 will be 16 for me.  Will you be finding out the sex at 20 weeks?  I can't wait for that!!

I am 16 weeks 2 days.  The nausea just stopped for me, but I'm still at a 4 pound weight loss.  I had a scan Tuesday to check for NTD that run in the family and everything looked great.  I go back in 4 weeks and get to have another scan.  Yay!  I can't sleep at night, I am up every half hour to pee, and I can't get comfortable.  I'm not too tired during the day though, so that's good.  I'm actually feeling great for the most part, and it's fun feeling the baby move.

Adria...It wasn't until a few days ago at almost 16 weeks I felt better, and every once in a while I still get a wave of nausea, but nothing like it was.  I thought it would never go away.

I'm 15 weeks and still feel awful!  I'm suffering from severe migraines that tylenol doesn't do anything for...looking at the computer screen all day during work is like torture for me too.  I'm still very tired and have no energy...nausea has not gone away either.  I've been taking zofran to prevent me from throwing up but it doesn't take the nausea away.  I'm really hoping that in another couple weeks these symptoms will be gone!  Everyone I talk to says the second trimenster is when everything goes away and you start to feel great..I'm still waiting!! :(  I'm beginning to think I will be one of the unlucky few that feels horrible throughout the whole pregnancy...we will see!  Anyone else still feel like **** in their second trimster?

I am 16 weeks & feelin pretty good.  I have been in the second trimester for a few weeks & it is wonderful.  My sickness is gone :) & I too am eating like a cow.  I am really into sweet fruits & some salty things.  I know too much sodium is not good, so I try to limit myself, but sometimes I can't help it.  I will open a big bag of chips & next thing I know it is almost empty. lol  I don't seem to have to much trouble sleeping at night except for having to get up & go to the bathroom every 2 hrs or so, although it is not nearly as often as during the first trimester so that is a good thing!  I go for my U/S on July 13th & am soooo excited to see the baby & find out the sex.  It seems like it is taking forever to get here. I am starting to feel the baby a little.  Not kicking or anything yet, but the flutters.  Especially today, they are CRAZY.  The baby must be getting some good excercise in there, cause the flutters have been none stop all morning.  It is the most amazing feeling!
Glad to hear others are doing well & I hope everyone enjoys the second trimester & the rest or their 9 months :)

I'm 16 weeks and feelin' fine.  Can't sleep well at night - not comfortable no matter how many pillows I use!!  I still pee a lot, and I'm still pretty sleepy throughout the day.  No sickness or nausea so that's a plus.  July 14th is when I go for my anatomy scan/gender scan so I'm pretty excited and it can't get here soon enough.  Baby is still going strong 150bpm at the last appointment.

Hi there!!  I just passed 16 weeks yesterday and I'm feeling pretty good.  I feel great in the morning, but then my mood things are in full force and I start to feel annoyed and irritated by any little thing.  I thought that would pass in my 2nd trimester, but still there.  Other then that i feel good.  I'm also up every 2 hours to go to the bathroom.  I haven't had a decent night sleep in months, but I'm not complaining.  ::
