Wednesday Weeklies July 21

21w3d I am miserable with this darn heat wave that doesn't seem to want to break anytime soon. Right now we are having a thunderstorm and the air is just so thick and hot...ugh.

I have been feeling nauseas again for the past few days and again have lost my appetite. I am sure it is due to the heat. But the good side is that this little boy is a mover and kicker. I love feeling him do his baby exercises. ^_^

I was going through our first son's pictures and moving them all to a flash drive for safe keeping and I got so excited to be able to hold and love another little tiny boy again...ahh I can't wait.

My hips and back are getting very sore and I have to take it pretty easy and pace myself with housework and what not. I have been doing some yoga and thet helps a ton...when I get motivated to do it.

19 weeks left!

Dang, I missed the weeklies again...Oh well, it's Thursday and I'm finally 20 weeks, or am I already 20 weeks? Lol. This pregnancy is flying by so far! I'm starting to feel more movement, and in about 2 weeks I'm getting the L2US, and hopefully going to confirm that baby's a girl. I may be getting another US between now and then, thanks will all go to my dad on that one, I'm visiting for my brother's wedding and the US tech where he works as a radiologist "owes him"...hee hee...I hope I can get one with them!

Well I am 17 weeks and doing well, feel the baby off and on- mainly at night. Cant wait till we know the gender and more about the pregnancy. Appointment on 7/27 and gender u/s 8/10 3 weeks are taking for ever!!

This weekend is my 25th birthday- but I keep forgetting when people ask what I am doing this Sunday.

Knowing the gender and if I have gained any weight will be a huge reassurance!

Cant wait to shop for clothes, car seat, crib, etc. I am fortunate enough to have my mom and good friend each throwing a shower for me- I never have had one, so this shall be exciting!!

We are 18 weeks today....our surrogate went for her OB appointment yesterday and sent us the latest pictures.  Our little boy had his hand pointing at his boy parts...yeah..that's daddy's boy!!!  ;)  Our girl was facing us and you could see her really clearly.  I get so excited every time I see them!  Our Level 2 ultrasound is Monday, and we are looking forward to seeing them in person again (we didn't drive to the ultrasound on Tues).

We have done a bunch of shopping, and my in laws are buying their cribs, dressers, glider, and a bookshelf for their room.  We are so grateful for their generosity and excitement about the twins!

Our surrogate has not had any symptoms really...she is a bit tired, and getting moreso the bigger she gets.  Other than that, she is feeling good, growing, and enjoying the pregnancy.

I think we have picked names for both of them now, so I am thrilled....but we are keeping mum on them as we have friends that are expecting too..and I don't want them taken!  hehe

Glad everyone is doing well, even if it's hot and muggy out!!!

Hello Ladies!  17 weeks.  Received my second trimester screening lab results and we are in the clear- all looks good.  I have my anatomy scan on 7/29.  Im looking forward to seeing the girls again.   I am not feeling them move so kinda jealous of those of you who are.  I'm having problems sleeping at night, my back is killing me.  I normally sleep on my back with no pillows- trying to adjust my behavior to the side but it's hard.  Also having a hard time getting out bed and of the sofa when watching TV since my back hurts.  I guess I need more back support.

I have gained a total of 8 lbs and I have a belly now.  Planning the baby shower with my cousin (she's throwing the shower but I'm a control freak).  Started shopping for the girls, have some clothes, stroller and car seats.  We found cribs we liked today but still looking around.  Should start working on the nursery soon.

Hope everone is well. So Cal weather has been interesting, last Sunday really HOT- High 100's and today it was raining.

I will be 20 weeks on Thursday (tomorrow)!!  Yay, finally the half way marker!!  Yesterday and today I have noticed some pulling and streatching on the top sides of my belly, which is a first!  Also, today I was kind of pushing on my tummy cause it was hard and felt a little flutter from the right side(where I was pushing) go to the left side!!  Ava was running from me!  That was also a first!  Well, my level 2 u/s is this Friday and I pray all is well and the bright bowels are gone and CF and DS are rulled out!!  I'm still having super crazy dreams and starting to get night sweats.

to use you doppler, make sure you use lotion or gel to get rid of the air between the probe and your skin.
if you can feel where the baby is, you can just go to that area.
if not, i start low, just at the brim of my pelvis and move slowly side to side.  You will here your placenta as well as your 2 majoy uterine arteries, but your baby's heart rate is about twice what yours is so you can tell the difference.
if you don't hear it low, you can gradually move up, continuing to sweep side to side.
it's a moving target, but you can find if with practice :)

it's getting harded to work for 10 hours on my feet at a time, mostly because i don't remember the last time i slept more than 6 hours straight (thanks to baby lily kicking my bladder all night)
ah well, she'll be worth it.
we have another US on tuesday to check development.
i am off camping tomorrow for the weekend, should be interesting

19 weeks... in one week is our big ultrasound!  I hear ya on the hips, my right one is killing me.  I went back to the gym last week as I am finally getting some of energy back, and it was hard.  I picked an easy class too.

I am getting really excited about this one.  For the first time, I am doubting myself though.  I first thought it was a boy and now I am so confused, maybe it's a girl.  Ahhh one more week, I can do it!

The kids are doing great with the thought of having another one.  I just signed my son up to take a sibling class at the hospital.  I am thinking of having the kids there with me (or as with me as they want to be...).  We'll see.  Our DD is turning two next month and is daytime potty trained - YES!  Now if we can just the nighttime down, I will have a break from diapers.  That would be nice.
