Try wearing a maternity belt. It is a wide elastic belt that you wear under your bump to give support to your tummy and hips. It does wonders and is only around $20 at Walmart. Worked great for me in my last pregnancy.

I dont have much pain in the lower belly, but the streching of muscles in that region even when I am in bed are very painful!! Probably due to the prior c-section. My hips are killing me more than anything and mid back hurts like hell after walking too much. Going to see a chiorpractor tomorrow- I can not wait!!

I have the same problem.  Sometimes it's worse than others and I can barely walk.  Sometimes I stand up and have to take deep breaths because it hurts.  I always sort of attritubute it to muscle strain and stretching.  I think she's particularly low, too.
When I went into prelabor the L&D doc that checked me said I'm 1cm dialated and 60% effaced.  This is my thrid baby, though, and 5th pregnancy.

I have that too! It is more under my belly button area that hurts when I walk!  I had an appt. Friday and the Dr. said she is low and that he felt her head when he checked me.  I wasn't dialated yet but he said I have started to thin and that if I went he wouldn't try to stop it.  I'm thinking it is because she is so low that it hurts my lower belly when I walk.  I will be 36 weeks on Thursday.
