jcpenny had a decent selection and everything was 40% off...
so i got 2 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of pants, 2 tshirts and 2 blouse for $105 total....
good deals :)
I got some things at Motherhood the other day and I'm loving them. I got a pair of jeans, white linen pants, and khaki cargos capris. They all have the magic fit belly. I also got a bunch of t-shirts with the rouched sides that look good now and will work for later. I got one shirt that says "Everyone Loves a Pregnant Chick".
DH spoiled me a little bit and bought me the Mommy Boppy. I'm not sure what it's called and too lazy to get up and see.
I also got the tummy sleeve for wearing my regular clothes.
motherhood is by far my favorite spot to get maternity clothes...they have really good sales and the clothes are cute too
I really think investing some money in maternity clothes is important. Sure, you may only be wearing them from 3 months to a little postpartum but they will be the most uncomfortable months of you life!! You don't need anything fancy, just something that will fit comfortably and wear in public. I'm a cheap person (I have my clothes second-hand) but I know how much my comfort is worth!!
I am currently bidding on 4 bundles on ebay. Discout racks at target are great you just buy larger sizes. This season it seems that more flowing clothes are in fashion so it makes it a little easier.
Thank you all for your comments. I was able to find a lot of clothing at a Destination Maternity store about 30 min's from my home. It helped that we got some money back from our IVF. Nothing like shopping with money you know you can spend on just clothing.
Ok, so I have no where to buy maternity clothes either. I kind of live out in the country. There is a small section in a store near my house but it is very pricy. And I can't see spending all that money on clothes that are temporary. So I will be picking through Goodwill. Most of the clothes there are only worn briefly. Most still have tags. Just be picky about it and you can save a bundle that you can spend on the baby :)
I vote for Gap. They have some great stuff and great prices on shipping, you can combine orders with Old Navy too. I love Gap's pants. I got a lot of stuff at Motherhood Maternity as well, the first time. Since I was in a second season the second time, I ended up getting a bunch of stuff from consignment shops/jbfsale.com (is a huge nation wide consignment sale in the US - have some great stuff for the kids too), I also signed up for freecycle and got several summer tops through them.
I found the best shorts at Motherhood maternity, they are 2 inch inseam white cargo shorts with the magic fit belly, I wear them with loose tank tops that I got at TJ Maxx. Looks like my normal clothes! Burlington here in TX does have great maternity & great baby stuff, bottles, strollers, furniture, bedding and baby monitors!
I just discovered today that Burlington Coat Factory has a LARGE selection of maternity clothes ....and the prices are great. Check online...I went to the store today :) I may even register there....in my town the one I went to had a lot of cute baby stuff too :)
I also found a lot of stuff at Kohls but it isn't a huge selection
I haven't had to buy any more but I got 3 pairs of pants and 5 shirts off of Craigslist.
i like h&m mama line....not sure if it they are online though....
I like "A Pea in the Pod" for maternity clothes, but it depends how much you want to spend on them. If there isn't one near you you can look and purchase on line.
I bought two pairs of shorts and a belly band for $56 after tax...Wal mart here doesn't sell maternity anymore AT ALL. We don't have a Motherhood here, but I've heard they're really good, maybe a little pricey. If you find anywhere else or anything online let me know I need some more stuff for later.
Motherhood Maternity has some cute stuff. Old Navy has some cute things online too. But I just bought 6 shirts and sending 3 of them back. I am going to check out Target tonight.
