We are having boy/girl fraternal twins so my husband chose our boy's and I chose our girls name. For our boy it will be David Jacob, David for his father and also because it means beloved by God. For our girl I chose Reina Rebecca which is what my beloved papa would call me as a term of endearment her name also means Queen in spanish and Rebecca is my sister's name and means "captivating beauty."
We chose Eva Eliana and she is due on December 4th. We don't have too much of a reason behind it, we both like those names.
Lillian because we like classic names and we just loved it. Both of my parents names start with the letter L as well, so i like that part too.
Faye after my grandmother.
and she has the same monogram as my mother did before she married (LFW) which i also really like.
I was hoping Lily wasn't common, but it looks like it is becoming more so...ah well
Well, our children have two middle names because Dad does too. We don't know the sex but this week I like Xander and Ebony. It might change by next week.
Our little girl is due on 12/3/10. We plan to name her Eliana Lucia. In researching names I stumbled across Eliana and thought it was pretty. THEN I looked at the meaning of it which is, "My Lord Has Answered Me" and that was it...perfect. DH and I have been trying to have a baby for many years so it just seemed meant to be. Lucia is the middle name....it is my grandmother's name and my middle name. I always loved it and wanted to include it if I ever had a baby girl. We are already using Eliana and "Ellie" interchangeably when we talk about her so that will be her "knickname". Can't wait to meet our little sweetheart!
These are really neat to read. I think we are going with Curran for a first name. It's Irish as are our first two (Connor and Kensley), it goes well with the other names and sounds nice, not too complicated as our last name is crazy long, and it looks similar to Connor. Middle name will be Ashland - that is where we met. Pronounced KER-an.
We chose Cole Thomas Newton, due 12/3/10. Due to so many abdominal surgeries he will be born on Nov 30, 2010. Cole, chosen because my mothers maiden name was Coltrain and Thomas, was my madin name. I would have named him Coltrain Thomas Newton but my husband did not liking it. Cole was the compromise. Fine with me. 3 more month until we meet our little boy.
I am due 12/13/10, we choose Kathryn Rain for our little girls name, Kathryn cause her daddy loves Star Trek and the captain in Star Trek is Kathryn, I just love old names so worked for me, Rain because we live in Oregon and we both love the rain or any water, we go to the waterfalls all the time. Plus she was conceived on a rainy day and most likely be born on a rainy day too. :)
My son Skyler Nathaniel was born on 12/15 so they will have close birthdays, he will be 7 this year, choose Skyler cause I lived in Arizona and was driving to work and looking at the Sky gave me the same Skyler, Nathaniel cause I loved that name.
Well originally we just started naming off names we liked, then writing them down (with last name too) and as we got further a long and closer to knowing the gender... we started taking some off the list that didnt really resonate with us. MarLea was on that had stuck around cause my husband liked the sound of it... the spelling how ever was chose in a line up of other names uniquely spelled to resemble mommies spelling.
It just so happened to work out that MarLea is an even split between my husband MARcus and CaraLEA.. so MarLea is a perfect name for our daughter!! She is due 12.30.10 if she keeps getting bigger, if not they may push the date back a bit.
