I've been having bad morning sickness as well, and I'm 17w5d. I also have the dizziness and it feels like I can't breathe and I feel heart palpitations. I do have a heart murmur, so I was sent this week to the cardiologist. I have an echocardiogram and a fitting for a holter monitor next week to see what's causing this and if my murmur is doing ok. It's definitely something to address to your OB because it may need to be looked into. Dizziness is actually pretty common with shifting positions and things like that. But, if you have it while sitting down too, you  may want to look into it. I'm glad I did.

Hello!  I'm 16 wks 2 days, DD 12/28/10, 1st pregnancy.  Sorry about your loss but happy to hear about your current preggo status.  I experience head aches and have been advised to take Tylenol, and also rest during this time.  I also put ice in the back of my head and this seemed to help.  I was one of the fortunate ones- no morning sickness here. I've gained a total of 8 lbs to date and OB is very happy with my weights.

We found out last week the gender of the twins, I'm expecting girls. Looking forward to sharing anything I can with you.

Welcome!!!!

Hello!  I am due 1/6/11. This is my 4th pregnancy & child.  I am doing this again later in life. I just turned 40.  I too have been dealing with the headaches.  My OB said they are tension headaches.  It is ok to take excedrine tension. It is a combo of acetaminphen and caffeine (no aspirin) he also told me to take claratin and use saline spray in my nose because they may be due to hay fever. I am not stuffed up or feel like I am having allergies.  He explained how our nasal passages etc effect the muscles in on our heads etc. I happen to be clear across the country from you so not sure if we get them for the same reasons.  The dizziness can be caused by blood pressure but not always.  I get head rushes occassionally and have to sit down. My blood pressure is fine so my OB doesn't have really any concern. My next ultrasound is on Aug 18th and we will find out what it is.  That is one day shy of 20 weeks.

I have never been this sick with any of my other pregnancies.  My 1st one I was for 3 months. Which was with my son.  The next two I had no morning sickness and had girls so I'm thinking this is another boy.  I am not as sick as I was the first 12 weeks but it is still hanging on and then the headaches have kicked in.

Welcome..

I am a 2nd time mom expecting, still dont know the gender till 8/10!

Other than your loss (and I am sorry you experienced it) I am very similar to you.. Lots of morning sickness this time, 16weeks 2days and due 12/30/10. We found out right before our 1yr wedding anniversary.

Tylenol is the only thing I have taken beside morning sick pills that didnt work. Ask your Dr and I am sure you would be fine to take them for the headaches.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask...
