Wednesday Weeklies Aug 11

So yesterday I found out for sure we're having a girl. I'm not sure if I want to name her what we did have picked out. Oh well, I've got 17 more weeks to like something. The further I get the more I just want to stay in bed and sleep all day, but with a 2 year old that's not possible. Looking forward to the weekend when DH gets to take over while I sleep in!

Two days late this time lol! 24 weeks today and little Olivia Lynn is kicking up a storm lately!! She's awake a lot during the day some days and sometimes she's only awake at night - yeah, I worry about her alot lol!! I have a doc appt on Thursday so hopefully I'll find out I've gained a little wight...at my last appt at 20 weeks 3days I'd gained a total of 4 lbs all together!!! I hope to be putting on some weight soon though!! I got my stroller, crib, dresser and pack and play...so most of my big items are out of the way!! I think we're going to get the bedding tonight so we can paint the room!!!

My baby is Viable!!! I feel a bit relieved...just hope she bakes for awhile yet though!! Oh and if your wondering...yes I still suffer from morning sickness most days of the week...so its been about 18 weeks straight now :-(  Good luck though ladies!

I laughed when I read your post about your little girl being dainty and girlie....when I was born I was 5lb 4oz.. tiny and sweet...I am now just under 6 feet tall...haha!  What happened to my dainty?!!?!  And I come from short parents!  Go figure!?

I am sure your baby girl is going to be gorgeous and amazing!  :)

Sorry to hear your baby wasnt showing the goods.. but at least you know he or she is healthy and active!! Maybe they will do another one later- hopefully not too expensive or out of pocket.

My u/s appointment went well, but we couldnt see much except for her gender. Her butt was sticking right up and about the only clear thing we could see.. the placenta is in the front of the uterus covering all of the baby.. They did get some of her measurements, that shows her around 1 week behind my EDD. The nice part about the office I am now going to, they told me they are going to bill this u/s as a limited visit- since they couldnt get complete information. So I get another one in 6weeks covered by insurance!! I love my new Dr/Midwife office. This next u/s will be my 4th one!! The placenta in front of the uterus has been all my troubles all along- why they couldnt hear her at the last 3 times they tried with just the doplar.

She is going to be danty and girlie. LOL

23 weeks 4 days.

Had a kidney infection this past week, howling in pain for four days was not my idea of fun.  I'm now on antibiotics (for the rest of the pregnancy), Tylenol, and a muscle relaxer.  Oh yippie.

Well had US today and well our little peanut did not want us to know what sex it was at all rolled around and moved all over but would not uncross the legs. I was so upset begged the doc to do US in a few weeks he wont I so am a person who likes to plan and do things a head of time and I DO NOT want to do the yellow and green thing for my baby shower so we shall see what happens. On a good note the baby did look good and is growing and is very healthy which is the most important thing of all. So that is how my apt went today will be back in a month in hopes of setting up US to find out if not we will be paying for the 4d ultra sound and hope baby works with us then

I might be the only one who has tons of energy!  I have had this feeling for about a week and am taking it while I can get it.  I know it won't last forever.  I too have a 4 year old and my daughter will be two on the 26th!  The second part of this pregnancy is really going to fly by, with all of the holidays.  DH and I need to decide on a name so the kids can call him by his name.  Our son is having fun coming up with interesting names.

I am getting bigger and people are finally asking me when am I due.  I have a really long waste so I didn't have a true baby bump until just the past few days.  Feeling pretty good, trying not to eat all the time like I want to, knowing that these next few months I can really pack on the pounds.  I am still even with my weight so I haven't gained anything yet, but soon.

We are doing well... it's Wednesday and tomorrow I will be 20 weeks. Little Miss MarLea is measuring about 18w 5d, so a little small- but her EDD stayed 12/30/10. I am so excited to call her by her name!!

I have an apointment in 2weeks on 8/24 a standard check up, then another check up and 4th U/S in 4weeks on 9/22. I cant wait to see my midwife and check on my weight- since MarLea is small. I just hope she will be big enough to be healthy on D-day, but not too big to make a VBAC impossible.

Hope everyone continues their second half with great feelings, healthy babies and lots of sleep- I definantly have felt the fatigue the whole time and my hips lately have been killing me!

Hello Ladies, completed 20 wks today!  The girls and I are doing well.  I have an US tomorrow and and OB visit Friday.  I am now feeling the girls move- flutters all over the place.  Baby A is more active than Baby B.  I'm getting tired faster and take rest when possible.  During the weekend I rest quite a bit.  DH has stated that I am only good for 30 min of activity because I get tired after that.  I am also very hungry these days...I'm trying to eat healthy snacks but they are not always available.  On Saturday I almost fainted while I was getting dressed, I had a full tummy and had just showerd.  I rested and felt better.  Will let OB know about this new development.  Sleeping is getting a little better but the belly is getting bigger- it's still hard to find a comfortable position but I am so tired that I go to sleep.

I got a new car yesterday (I had a lease) and now can carry the twins and my 8 year-old step daughter with plenty of space.

Hope Everyone is doing well.

24w3d. This week has been rough on my body, there is a lot of stretching in the belly which just makes me feel bruised all over my abdomen. My hips are taking a beating from this little boy practicing his stretching in my pelve bone. He is so low and there is a tone of pressure but other than that I am feeling pretty good. The fatigue is making a comeback so I try to relax as much as I can while being Momma to a 17 month old! ^_^

I love when you guys post your status!  It helps me feel like I am a part of it all...that's the downside of working with a surrogate -- though we are so blessed to have her!

Our week is great!  We are 21 weeks today, and she had an appointment on Monday.  Our little boy is 14.45oz and measured at 21w 1d (he was actually 20d 5d), and our little girl is measuring at 13.60oz and measured at 21w 0d.  Their heart beats are strong, and they look great!

The doctor moved us to an every 2 week appointment...the diabetes test is in a few weeks too, though an initial glucose screen was negative (yeah!).  She only gained 3 pounds this time, which is great!

Our surrogate is feeling great, and getting bigger by the day!  We get to see her in the next few weeks, and can't wait!

Hope you are all feeling good and enjoying your experience!
