Help 36wk6d babys already 8lb1oz

So im 36wk & 6 days baby weights 8lb1oz & im dilated to a 2 & 75% thinned!! This is my first full term pregnancy & have no clue wat contractions feel like....ive had many ppl tell me many different things about their labor but im not sure cuz ive always had sever cramps during my period & didnt even kno I was having a miscarriage when I had one....doc said I could go into labor any day & baby is head down & ready but im scared I wont kno when im having contractions cuz I'll just blow it off as cramps or gas pain or stretching pain....

You shouldn't worry too much. The signs of the first part of labor are contractions that are consistently less than about 10 mins apart. You'll know when you go into active labor because they will be very intense and be 5 mins apart or less. The hospital doesn't advise you to arrive until you reach active labor anyways so you won't have to worry about whether its braxton hicks or real ones. You'll know because the difference is that real labor consists of consistent contractions. Just relax and dont stress!!! :)

I have a high pain threshold and i get really bad cramps as well the way I know the difference from my normal aches is the pain steadily gets worse.
Just keep notice of the intensity level . I hope everything works out well :)
