I am 9 weeks tomorrow.  I have been feeling bloated and I think some of it was gas/constipation related.  The first thing I did was change my prenatal vitamin.  Most of them have a form of Iron in them that can have that result.  The second thing I did was add prunes (just 5-6 a day) and yogurt to my diet.  So far, so good.  Wishing you all the best withyour new little bundles!

Same boat as you except I'm 8 weeks on Sunday. It hurts so much. My doc said it was gas and constipation. My aunty is a midwife too and advised me to eat loadsssssss of fruit and try and ride it. It horrendous haven't had a decent nights sleep in days :(  It will pass :) hope all goes away, it's comforting to hear people in the same boat. But if you're a worrier like me go see a doc. xxxxx

So long as there is no bleeding there probably is.t a problem. I posted the same question and asked my doctor and he said it was most likely trapped gas. So I ate a load of tangerines and now I feel so much better. All the pain went away. :) congrats ongetting to 8 weeks. I'll be that far along on Monday too!
