Anyone else?

Due Dec. 1, and in the past couple of weeks, I have fallen into a depression which is debilitating. I'm discussing these issues w my provider, but I'm just curious about how common this is. My second trimester was pretty uneventful; I had a little depression, but I managed it. Now, I can't sleep or get out of bed! Anyone care to share their experiences with this?

Your local hospital should offer support groups. Just going to talk to women that are pregnant and possibly experiencing depression will help you not feel alone. I wish you the best.

I see a psychotherapist once a month; that's all that's available. I'm going back on my head meds once baby comes. I'm trying use all the appropriate tools but it's still hard. Anyway, thanks for your reply and take care.

I'm glad you're seeking help! I got dangerously close when my son was born. We're both lucky to be alive really.
Are you able to access face to face support??? I.e. specialist counselling.
