I sleep on my stomach and did so with most of my first pregnancy. When it started to get uncomfortable I actually used the bobby pillow I got for my daughter as a kind of stomach cradle. Wrapped it around my bump and off to sleep I went
I don't think it hurts the baby, it's the matter of convenience, soon you wouldn't feel comfortable sleeping on your stomach yourself probably, for now if it feels fine then it's fine.
I've slept on my stomache through all of my pregnancies... Although after I got so big it became a mixture of stomache/side sleeping lol I've never had any problems because of it... Both i my children have actually turned out to be tummy sleepers and I think thats why...
its ok until it becaome painful. and it will. I'm a tummy sleeper to and I found with my son i was able to sleep on my stomach until about 4 months when there was a bump there but this time I find I can't really fall asleep on my stomach, only on my side. I found that a body pillow helped a lot
I'm curious too. I'm inly 10 weeks, but sleeping partially on my stomach/side is the only way I can sleep right now. I know once we get bigger we can't, but is it ok within the first trimester?
