Headaches and heart palpitations

Hey everyone. I'm a ftm about 11 weeks along. For the past 2 days I have had a horrible headache. I took 1 1/2 Tylenol today I drink water like crazy and it hasn't helped. I've also been getting heart palpitations a few times these last few days. Should this be concerning? Have any of you experienced the same things?

Thank you ladies! This is day 3 of my headache and I am just miserable. My doctor prescribed me some medicine ( butal acet caff ) which i am a little worried to take but getting desperate. As far as the heart palpitations the nurse just said totally normal unless I start struggling to breath. At which point I should go to ER immediately, hopefully that will not be needed! So many scary things and changes happening when your pregnant, especially being a first time mom just want to always make sure the babies ok.

In 13 weeks and just asked my dr last night about heart palpitations. He said it's common especially in your 2nd trimester which I just started. It's from a drop in blood pressure. To drink plenty of fluids mainly water. The headaches are also from the hormone increase. Best that works for me is a warm shower followed but a heating pad on my head on med setting. Also as nasty as it taste I crush up 2 Tylenol and eat it with apple sauce or jelly. It gets in in your system faster. Hope this helps you

Hi. I also have had heart palpitations. I talked with the doctor and she said probably is nothing, but they are going to check the thyroid hormonea..they can increase during pregnancy and cause palpitations,  but i even if it is the case she said not to worry, it is nothing complicated,  maybe some supplements to get them under control. Ask your doctor,  but don't worry. Good luck!
