Induction to birth time??

Question

My doctor said most women who get induced won't have their babies for 24 hours or longer.

Curious how long your time was between induction and birth? 

Thought most women get induced at 8 or 6 am then have their babies in their arms that same day.

I was in labor 16 hours at the hospital when given patocin.

I was induced with my son at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia and was in labor for 21 hours

mine took 3 hrs the first time then my other one took 2 hrs

Agreed, it's all about the stage your body is at when they give you the pitocin. Are you dialated at all? Have you effaced at all? Is it your first child, etc etc. 
your doctor could be saying that if your body is at "zero" for everything... No worries though, that little one will be here soon!!!

I got induced on Monday at 9am they started it but i had to be there at 6am and had my son in my arms at 6:19pm that night. It really depends on your body how long it takes
