Sister in law dilemma

hi guys need a good vent me and my sister in law haven't spoken since the beginning  of the year she was unhappy that I fell pregnant first me and hunt wen trying for over a war and I didn't know he was trying so soon after the birth of her son last year and we had a stupid argument she was then annoyed at the fact I was having a girl me and my husband have tried over the last few months to try and make things better my sister in law sent a message saying let's be civil bc of my husbands sake but has done everything but still no contact she's not talking to her own brother because he took his wife's side so my problem now is my best friend has decided to throw me a shower which my mother in law has asked my sister in law to be invited to I honestly don't want to upset anyone but I don't want someone there who has never been happy for me throughout this pregnant by even a simple congrats to her brother I really don't want to upset my mother in law by telling her I don't want sis in law there my husband says its up to me if I decide to invite her or not please help any advice or comments will e greatly appreciated x

I took your advice mother in law told me her reasons for asking for her to be invited was to not give her any more ammunition and she never intended to upset me sis in law said he didn't want to come so everyone is happy lol xx

Just send her an invite so mother in law will be happy. Your sister in law can't say you didnt try to invite her. No guarantee that she'll show up or not if she's that angry over complete stupidity
