Real from Fake

I'm noticing since I told people in pregnant I literally have no one. I'm 24 this is my first pregnancy and I guess you notice who your real friends are when no one checks on you except your mom. It's all good just wondering if anyone else had this issue before real friends to fake friends. Oh well they can miss me with that . It's not about other people's validation anymore . I can't wait to meet my baby! #singleMother

I guess I haven't really been there but I'm sorry you are experiencing this. I know that when I was in my 20s and friends started getting knocked up I didn't really find myself hanging out with them much. Not because I was a fake friend but because I didn't know how to relate to them. At 24 I was traveling and dating and didn't have much to offer my pregnant friends. Now... at almost 32 I have a 2 yr old daughter and a baby on the way; some friends from back then and I reconnected now that we both have kids and can set up play dates and do similar things.

So, don't write them all off yet. It might just take popping out a kid or two for them to finally be on the same grown up page.

You got this mama!
