Anyone else have trouble hearing the Heartbeat?

I went to my first appt. Today and my heartbeat was overpowering the babies, my doctor told me it was okay maybe too early to tell so he wants a sono. I've never had that problem before, it worries me. Anyone else deal with this before?

Haha well good luck! I'm getting an early reassurance scan on Monday, this is my second. Twins run on both our sides too, so I hope I don't get hit either

I've never known them to check the heartbeat this early unless it's via a scan! It's too early to hear it clearly

Yeah! This is my 4th and everything is different now than what it was 4 years ago, so when he told me he was looking for the heartbeat I got scared when he didn't find it! I came home unsure instead of happy lol

Yeah I bet! That's pretty stupid, so you booked back in for a scan?

Yes the 24th, he says it's better to measure them when it's early? I'm barely going to be 6 weeks on Sunday. But I am glad he s going to do a scan because twins run in my SO family and I'm afraid to get hit lol!!
