Decrease in fetal movement?

For the past two days, the aby hasn't been moving like it was.  

Have any of you experienced this right before you went?

Should I call my doctor?

It moves, but just very little~not sure if it's because I've dropped major within the past 3 days...

I'm nervous!!

Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment, I'm going to tell him straight up how I feel because I didn't sleep AT ALL (between aweful dreams of pregnancy to hurting in general) and this is just DRAGGING~  Not even should how Gina could of went 40 weeks...LOL  I'm 4 days from it, but DARN...bugging the hell out of me. LOL

Hoping to get my membranes stripped tomorrow afternoon.  I've set up sitters for the kids Thursday night and Friday (JUST IN CASE IT WORKS), then I might have a induction date when I come back Thursday.  I'm stoked to find out how dilated I am, if these cramps and contractions are really doing anything, and HOPEFULLY have a Valentine's Baby :)  Awwwww!!!  

OMG and talking about Castrol Oil~ On the Maternal & Child forum, I posted a poll up to see what NATURAL ways of induction woman have tried and worked for them....I started getting so NASTY comments on there (people who weren't even participating with the voting) gving me all this **** how Castrol Oil will dehydrate you, make the baby have a BM,...blah blah blah....
That wasn't want the damn poll was about!  So i wrote back on there, told them how I felt about then making something FUN, turn out so crappy....and frustrating.  I said the poll was closed because I couldn't deal with it.  Do they think I was going to drink the whole bottle and make myself poo all overand kill my baby?  WTF???  OMG I was just so pissed...check it out, I'm sure it's still on there~

I couldn't believe what they were saying to me.  I just wanted to see what everyone tried and if it worked for them...it wasn't supposed to be a good vs. bad question....

So that didn't help at all...LOL

Yeah....my son had a lot less movement right before I went into labor...you will be there soon!!  

You know I tried everything, from drinking caster oil...taste good in a shake with orange juice and vanilla ice cream, to pushiing while on the toilet, cumin tea, red raspberrry tea, sex, jumping jacks, walking......he came when he was ready!!  As a matter of fact..i told everyone..I give up, I am not doing anymore of those old wives tales, and just went about the day normal....that nite i went into labor!!  So just relax....

I will tell you that the caster oil did cause labor (braxton hicks) and the worse case of diarhea...don't do it!!

Good luck ladies....get all the sleep that you can now...Nathan is 3 days old, and I am SO EXHAUSTED!!!

Hahahaha.... yes, sitting on toilet and pushing down... but not funny for you in the middle of it.

Ha, it's funny you mentioned the "pushing the water out" part because I would sneeze, while having a contraction and literally hold my nose to try...NOTHING!!  I'd sit on the toilet few awhile hoping this would give the baby more room to come down more (if it even can) to see if I'd dilate more...

YES, Moody, moody moody!!  I get freaked out when the house isn't clean and there's toys all over or my husband wouldn't pick up his clothes when I'd just clean up.  Bending over isn't easy and I'm not sure why he won't just put the clothes in the laundry room...LOL But he's been doing dishes, so I can't complain that much.

I was really thinking about doing Castrol Oil.  SO many people claim it dilated them more and even claim to have their waters break on them 2 hours after taking it.  So I think Thursday, IF he strips my membranes, I'm going to get some Castrol oil and do that on top of it...LOL  

I'm thinking he'll induce me on Sunday or Monday (Due date)...I was hoping Friday night or Saturday morning...LOL Just something SOONER if he doesn't try anything~I've waited TOO long for him to come back....

In my last few days with both of my kids, they didn't do much kicking but did alot fo leg stretching.  It was usually after a BH contraction, or what might have been real labor.  It's like they were being squeezed and didn't like it, so they would try to stretch their legs out.

And the feeling that your period is coming on, is EXACTLY what I felt like with both babies.  And boy was I moody.  During those last days, my house was really clean  beause I suddenly had this burst of energy.  I was down on my hands and knees scrubbing floors.  Even my then husband who had no experience with labor said that something must be happening.  That was the most energy he had seen me have since the middle of my pregnancy.

No use in telling you to hang on anymore Brandi...those are the wrong words to tell you.  I say, give a few pushes and see if you can get that water to break....LOL

I called the doctor yesterday and nurse said that it's normal.  I couldn't remember becase I had my son 4 1/2 years ago and then the twins were obviously packed...LOL  

But the baby reserves oxygen and sleeps alot before D-Day!  Thanks cool~

As for my "BACK LABOR", it's back labor and can occor when the baby is facing the oppistie way.  Instead of looking at my back, it's looking at my public bone. That's why I'm having a hard time having labor really come on.  The biggest part of the head it trying to come down :(  So everytime I get a cramp, it's really a contraction...that's what causes back labor.  I feel better knowing this, but for almost a week now!?!  DAMN!  

Hopefully when I see my doctor Thursday he'll induce me or something Friday because this is really hurting me!  Get's stronger and worse everyday...seriously feeling like AF is coming on, but there's NOTHING on my TP  :(

My little guy too has slowed down in movement. I think its just more of the home stretch for us. Hopefullly in the next days we will be joined by our little bundles. Today the pressure has been stronger for me too. I am hoping sumthin finally gets started

well when in doubt call the doctor that is what i  do i have also had decrease movements in the past few days but  she is stillmoving  just not like she was before and  now her movements  are hurting me which is nothin i  had before with my other too. Most likely  ur baby lac of movement is  due to the running out of room  that is what my doctor told me. Most  likely if  the movement is  decrease they will have u come in for a non  stress test to make sure things are ok. i had decrease movement with my son the whole last month of my  pregnacy.
I hope u have ur little one  soon . again  calling the doctor never hurt anything  before  good luck
