ultrasound at 28 weeks and nervous!!!!

I am having an ultrasound tommorow. I am 28 weeks exactly today and was wondering what key questions I should ask my doctor. I was also wondering if there is anything specific that I should keep my eye out for during my ultrasound. This is my first baby and I seem to get frazzled everytime I go to the doctor and forget any questions that I may have. i try to write them down and bring the list with me but I often forget that too! lol Does any have any advice on what the key things I should be concerned about and should be looking for? Any information will help greatly. i read the bulletins about what fetal development should be at but they all very so much from site to site that I still don't have a clear understanding. i know that probably sound nieve but I just want to make sure that I am covering all bases and that nothing goes unchecked or undetected. Thanks!

Usually your u/s tech will be pretty forthcoming about the important things your baby is doing or has achieved. I would ask how much the weigh and how big they are, one of the neat things the tech told us at our last ultrasound was that baby A was practicing his breathing which meant he was oxygenating well and something else (can't remember right now). She didn't mention anything about if baby B was doing it and I forgot to ask... I know with my son at a later ultrasound they pointed out little white flakes in the amniotic fluid and said that was a sign of lung maturity (he had been practicing his breathing as well) so if you want you could always ask about those things or at what time they would expect to see those things. Other than that I can't be much help I guess, try to relax and enjoy it!!!!

I would ask what bub weighs. I love knowing exactly how big my baby is!
