What was the number, anything between 120-160 is just fine and even a little more or less is common too!
thanks so much for all your comments- dr did not give me an actual number for the heart rate- I had another HCG and Progesterone drawn today- I am debating if I should call the office and ask how they came out- I am afraid to hear bad news..... at the same time I will be thrilled if they are good!
I agree with both of the ladies, most doctor at first before ur ultrasound estimate what it might be close to,thats why they count form ur LMP at first but that is not always the case bc. If you don't ov around that time you can't conceive, so you may only be 6wks
Maybe you doctor is also measuring from around the actual time you concieved instead. Most pregnancy timeframe is considered by the first day of your of your last period, but thats usually not when you actually conceive. You ovulate ruffly 2wks after that and that's when you are the most fertile and have most likely conceived...so maybe he is measuring from the concieve date not the LMP
Try to relax, it is very very possible that you ovulated later than you thought which would only put you at the 6w2d mark unless of course you use opk's and are positive of when you ovulated. That being said it sounds like baby's heartbeats normally start of slow and then get faster. Did he give you any numbers at all or was he saying it was slow compared to where you should be according to lmp??? HAng in there.
