Soonest time frame for movement??

Hey ladies just wondering when you all finally felt your baby moving with pregnancies prior to this one?? With my first I swear it wasn't until 21 or 22 weeks or so before I was positive that is what i was feeling - I remember thinking how strange it was to see him at the 18 week ultrasound practically doing somersaults and I couldn't feel a thing, his placenta was also anterior which meant he would have to kick a little harder for me to feel it. I am hoping that having two in there will give me a leg up on all that and although I know the power of suggestion I swear three nights ago on two of them I felt a teeny tiny bump way down there below my belly button, I had happened to read in my pregnancy journal that they are now capable of purposeful movements. I know it is probably way to early but they say that overall second time moms recognize it sooner!! Could it be or do I just have some strange gas sensations =-)!?

Since you've already been pregnant before, you know that the baby(s) are actually moving long before we feel it.  In the very beginning it's muscle contractions the baby has no control over, then it becomes purposeful movement.

With you carrying two babies, it is very possible since your uterus is larger than average, that you may be feeling some of the fluttering early.  May be.

I know you are anxious to feel those precious babies moving.  Pretty soon, you are going to be kicked from every direction...probably most of the time.  When one baby is sleeping, the other is sure to be awake.  Just like when they are born...one will be wailing for the bottle while it's sibling will be laying there quiet.  As soon as you put the fed baby down, her sister will now want attention.  (Notice I said girls...I still think it's girls.  Will be surprised if it isn't.)  So get ready.  You are in for one heck of a joyous ride.

I would give my eye teeth to see both of the babies moving at one time, poking you from top to bottom.  Too bad we can't upload video's.  What a great video that would make...

I continue to be SO happy for you and am SO jealous of your double miracle...but glad it's you having this double duty, instead of me.  Raising singleton's was more than enough work for me.

Best Wishes and happy fluttering.....

Im not really sure..but wouldnt that be cool.....
I think its way too early for me...I rented a fetal doppler and I cant even find the heartbeat myself, I mean, I can get it to read a BPM of where its supposed to be, but it disappears so quick, so I dont even know if its the babys heartbeat...or whether something else in there could be giving me a reading like that..who knows...

I hope to feel something soon. Cant wait for the 12 week u/s. July 29th cannot come soon enough!
