I didn't have any symptoms with my 13yr boy till I was bout 4 1/2 months other than an irregular period!
Sore breasts, neusea, vomitig, dizziness, fatige. I didn't have any of these symtoms with my first two (who were boys). It's still a little shocking being pregnant again since I had a tubal ligation 20 months ago. We weren't able to see the little bugger on an ultrasound yesterday, but the dr. said it's either too early or a tubal. Anyone else have any info on a situation like this??
I had the side stitch pain for the first few weeks (more severe at night when I was in bed)...particularly on my right side, almost into my lower back. I thought I was having an ectopic or something. After a while, that suddenly stopped. Now, I just have the occasional uterus stretching, which I know is normal. As long as I don't try to turn over to quickly in bed, it's not that bed. But if I do, the pain is horrible! Feels like a muscle being torn or something! LOL
Hi ladies!
I was so excited to find this forum! This is my first pregnancy, and I am due February 5th. My first doctor's appointment is in a couple of weeks, and I am so excited! I have been terribly nauseated for several weeks now, but I hardly ever actually get sick...I wish I did, I think I'd feel better! One of my symptoms that has had me worried was short stabs of pain on either side of my tummy, that get worse at night. Nobody told me about the pain, but I have been reading that it's normal, just things growing down there. Has anybody else experienced this? I was TERRIFIED at first, I had nightmares about it for awhile, but I haven't had any bleeding at all, so hopefully everything is ok. Congratulations, everyone! Good luck!
Right now I am 6 weeks 3 days and experiencing sore boobs (like someone used them as a punching bag), on and off cramping and I also get nauseau but haven't actually thrown up. I also have a hard time eating anything becaues the thought of it makes me feel sick. The boobs and nauseau started this past weekend, but my family and friends have all said that within the next couple weeks I may feel more escalated symptoms. This is my 2nd pregnancy, my first ended in m/c and I also had no symptoms like this (not saying that's going to be the case for you, but for me thats what makes me feel better about things). My first appt. is July 10th and it seems like forever!
the only symptom that has stayed constant for me are the sore breasts and constipation, everything else seems to come and go. With my first pregnancy I had sore breasts for a few days and was constipated but other than that nothing and everything went great!!!
This is my 5th pregnancy and I haven't had any symptoms. I was really worried since all of my other pregnancies, I've had all the pregnancy symptoms. Needless to say, I've been going crazy. Well, I had my 1sr appt. June 16th, and she did an ultrasound. I saw the heartbeat and the baby. I measured at 6.6 wks pregnant. This is just to say that all pregnancies are different. All women are different.
I can say that I am having symptoms, like u, I eat alot more and want crazy combinations of food. My boobs have seem to starting hurting off and on since my appt, but nothing seriously painful. One major symptom I'm having is my 3 1/2 yr old son is constantly under me more than he has ever been. LOL!!!!!!!!!! My aunt says that is a sign that he knows another baby is coming to take his place. LOL!!!!!!
You have nothing to worry about. Everything will be fine. Enjoy ur pregnancy.
I haven't had morning sickness & I'll be exactly 6wks tomorrow. I get waves of nausea mixed with some hot flashes, but that's it. Bbs are UNBELIEVABLY sore, really veiny, and bigger, but I'm not eating all the time.
We're all different, so we're all going to feel different things. Don't panic just cause you're not feeling the typical symptoms. Are you gaining any weight?
Congrats on your first!!
Thanks for the reply!! My boobs haven't been painful either, just tender at the beginning, I'm sure that will pick up haha. Actually yes I am peeing a lot more than usual.. More so again during when I first found out I was pregnant, but still going quite a bit. The one weird thing is that I haven't been emotional AT ALL... I have not cried once! I think the last time was a week or two before I found out I was pregnant. That kinda freaks me out a bit...haha I'm sure that will come too but just odd I haven't.
Maybe I am just lucky but kinda wish I had more sympoms just so I feel more pregnant. Have my first doctors appointment July. 9th so I guess I'll know more then and maybe relax a bit!
Thanks again for the response :)
some women do not have any symptoms. others do not get them til between their 7-10 week mark. enjoy it right now while you can.
I haven't had constant symptoms either. My boobs only hurt a few days, then they just stopped hurting. Even then it wasn't REAL painful, just sorta tender.
Other than fatigue and occasional nausea that hits me during the day periodically, I don't have a steady stream of symptoms. I would normally say that constipation is a definite symptom, but honestly, I have that often anyway! LOL I was having diarrhea in the beginning, but the past week it has turned more in the other direction. (sorry, tmi!)
I didn't get morning sickness the first pregnancy, and haven't had it during this one so far either. My boobs didn't really start hurting in my last pregnancy until around 7 weeks or after.
You probably have more symptoms/signs than you think. Are you peeing a lot more than usual? That's a symptom.
The fact that you're eating more often is a symptom (not saying you eat MORE, but that you eat small snacks/meals more often during the day?).
Cramps ease up after a few weeks. It's the round ligament pain that you'll begin to feel more and more as your uterus stretches. This comes and goes (or you can feel like you're pulling a muscke when you move the wrong way or try to get up to quick out of bed).
The fact that your boobs are swelling is a positive sign, too. Even if they don't hurt. That's how mine have been.
Some people simply don't have a lot of symptoms (which is why so many people can be WEEKS into a pregnancy before they even realize they're pregnant! Especially those who have irregular periods.)
Just count yourself lucky and enjoy your pregnancy for what it is...practically symptomless! :-)
I'm sure everything is just fine!
