OMG sorry i didn't come back on here.
When the doctor called back, I was having contractions ever 10 minutes....as I made in into the hospital, they were every 5 minutes. I was given a shot and some IV fluids to stop the contractions. I was checked and I'M NOT DIALATED!! WOOHOO!! We got an U/S because last we knew, it was breeched and that was just last week.
It's HEAD~DOWN and still wouldn't give us the gender of itself...LOL It was SO squooshed...the doctor estimated it to be about 4 1/2-5 pounds and I still have 10 weks left. They told me I might not make it longer then just after Christmas....but I'm going to try like hell!!! My due date is still Feb. 16th...they didn't change it...I'm just having a big baby after having twins since they stretched everything out.
I've dropped since Friday which REALLY scares me. I didn't know that and I told me husband about it. He told me, "I could of told you that!!" Why didn't he!?! Now I'm more nervous knowing I'll probably have this baby at 34-36 weeks....
I get another U/S at 32 weeks (on the 23rd of Dec.) to see how big it's getting and if it's still head down....
Again, sorry I didn't write back on here. It's just been REALLY NUTS and confusing to me.
i feel for you. i did have one night for about an hour and a half my stomach was hurting so bad like the baby was otuting pressure on something that i could not describe. i could not stand or move. it even was sore to touch my stomach.
did the doctor call you back yet?
Hi,
how are you going? is everything ok with you? What happened with your doctor. Please give us an update...
When my belly tightened with my kids like that, it was a contraction. I didn't think so at first, I just thought my kids were bunching up in my belly. However it kept coming and coming closer so I finally figured it out. Thats why I knew I was having contractions this time. You really need to go to the hospital if your dr doesnt call you back. This isn't ur first baby remember. Things will happen faster this time. You will also have more pain in areas not as strong as they once were... please keep us updated!!
I too have been having much more painful nights. Pains in my back, in my sides, etc. Everyone says its normal but god knows it does not make it feel any better...
Momofthreecrazykids- I hope everything is ok. Just try your best to rest and keep your feet up until you hear from the doc.
I've just called my doctor and waiting for him to get out of the OR, but ever since that night, I've been cramping, my lower back is KILLING me, and I've been having a stabing feeling in my lower abdominal area. I keep running to the bathroom like I did with I went into preterm labor with my twins, just the feeling of something bad happening. It's just that same feeling :(
I just contracted, so I'm going to keep an eye on the timing...I'll be back on to update if I hear anything. Thank you for your help Girls!!
Hi,
i don't think it's any consolation but i've also been woken up at night, most nights now by excrutiating pain on my right side. It is so bad that that I gasp or groan, it is really hard to move with it and I just try shaking it gently until it reduces enough that I can move. I dread sleeping because of it.... If I can get standing a walk a little it reduces.
Told my docs i've been having pain but they just told me they think its post surgical (4 months ago had laparatomy and appendectomy) and things stretching, but haven't told them it's this bad.
it may be 'normal', but definitely you should tell your doctor just in case.
Well, they are getting big at this juncture, and don't have many places to go but under our ribs and into our pelvis....At 32 weeks, they are about 4 lbs...that is a lot of weight to lug around, and try to get comfortable in such a tight spot.
I have gotten some shooting pains from time to time...mine though is more siatica pain, in my right butt cheek.
I also have had the baby get hung up in my ribbs or scrape the hell out of my cervix!! It is painful in my pelvic region as well from time to time....it just depends on where he is and what he is leaning on!!
