Unexplained Spotting at 23 Weeks

I am currently 23weeks and 3 days, this morning I had some bright red mucousy blood, smaller than 2 dimes.  I went to ER where I had an ultrasound and they said everything looked good.  Cervix was closed and placenta was fine.
The bleeding only lasted that one time, but know after being home a few hours I am spotting pink.  The ER said to come back if it was red.  Should I be concerned about this?  The baby is breech, and I feel his kicks right above my pubic bone, could his kicking be causing me to spot?  Not sure what to think about this and I am extremely worried because I have had triplets early at 22 weeks and cant bear the thought of losing another pregnancy.

I ended up going back to the ER this afternoon, I had some chunky pink discharge and called my Drs office and they told me to go back and have the ER run some cultures, so maybe I have an infection, the ER took the swabs and told me to call my Dr on Monday.  But they did run some test that indicates whether you are more likely to go into preterm labor and my test came out negative.  So that was good news.

i had spotting and cramps at 22 weeks and went to hoy said all was ok with me i think it can just happen sometimes the dr's said it might just be my body telling me to slow down and take it easy! x

The spotting has stopped, so I am just going to take it easy and hopefully the spotting wont come back.

If you have had intercourse in the last 48 hours that could also have something to do with it. Keep and eye on it and don't be afraid to go back to the ER just to be reassured. Good luck!!

I was facing the same problem, and thankfully it had nothing to do with the baby, the baby was fine, I am now 30 weeks pregnant and still going, so dont worry about it, when I was spotting I kept thinking about it, I waited 2 days till I went to the hospital becasue I had 2 miscarriages, and I thought that I have already lost this baby, and the bleeding was getting worse, so when I finally went to the ER, they told me that everything was fine, then the bleeding got less, it is all psychological, so stop thinking about it and hopefully nothing would happen.
and if you are scared go to the er and let them check you again, you would put your mind at ease
