your just normal even if your miscarrying that would not be a sign, if your have sharp pains in your lower belly not cramps i mean pains I would go see your dr. but otherwise I would not worry. I am 5 weeks also and I have a lot of cm a lot it is also mostly white but it goes a little yellow sometimes don't worry just think there is nothing you can do about it even if it does happen. it is hard I know.

I have a slight increase in discharge as well and it is white mostly and sometime even a pale yellow. I have had this only in one other pregnancy and it was the only one that went full term. With my two m/c I seemed to have a lot of watery d/c a lot of the time but everyone is different and I wouldn't neccessarily correlate that with any true meaning either (don't want to worry anyone out there)!

As long as there is no pain or itchiness involved, it is reasonably safe to assume that what you are experiencing is just increased cervical mucus that many women produce during pregnancy. Your body has to create a mucus plug to seal the uterus once a pregnancy has been established. Increased cervical mucus is something that can be experienced during any trimester, or in many cases, all of them. Most women complain of an increase again however, during the last month (or so) of their pregnancy.

I have had this on occasion, too. I thought I was crazy!  I don't itch, I have no other signs of possible infection, and I can't remember if I had this the last time I was pregnant. I know I had the discharge, but can't remember if it was ever a pale yellow.
It's not every day, but every other day or so...

I found this old Medhelp post that eased my fears:
