oh also i am currently 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant again right now and i am just as nervous as you due to my previous 2 MC's.  my first one was at 8 weeks although we did not find out til week 11 that the baby had stopped growing and the next one was between 5-6 weeks.  hopefully we are both going to have healthy pregnancies this time aorund.  My doctor has already checked my hcg levels 3 times this past week and i am going again one more time tomorrow for another level.  so far they have more than doubled every time.

i am seeing a fertility doctor due to my 2 previous MC's.  all my tests came back normal so there was no cause for the MC's.  my doctor put me on baby aspirin and progesterone.  the bay apsirin is safe since it is a low dose.  what is does is help thin the blood to allow better oxygen to travel through the uterus, it is not harmful.

they dont prevent implantashon as it thins your blood so it makes it more easy to implant and keeps the blood flow up to my womb, im sure the dr woundnt of told me about it if it would hurt my baby, he was a dr hu delt with this all the time. fingers crossed

Believe it or not there is a study going on at UB to see if taking baby aspirin can help sustain pregnancy. I myslef am taking it as per docotors orders so I guess you need to do what he says. I recently went through the testing myself and they found nothing wrong and while I was glad to know the results I was somewhat annoyed that someone couldn't look me in the face and just say sorry about your luck. I know that is just me and everyone is different but there may not be a reason for your m/c and there may not be any reason for you to be concerned about this one its just we can't help it after sufferring lossess such as these. I hope everything works out for you and your family and that this little bean sticks. PLease keep us posted

I dunno I've always heard that aspirin prevents implantation, but I didn't go to Medical School so I could be wrong.
If your levels are rising then that's great, dont worry, your body will tell you if there's something wrong.  Hope for the best always,

mumit'as right, you should take tylenol, but i gues if the doctor told you to take asprin then there must be a reason.  Also, your levels probably increased because the miscarriage hadn't happened yet.  Well your scan isn't too far away so hopefully things will be ok!

I've heard that Aspirin increases your chances of m/c.  Try to avoid aspirin as much as possible.  Also, you wont necessarily have another m/c but you should definitely get tested and see the Dr. you might need to be closely monitored since you've had 3 previous m/c's.

Well I would ask your doctor to keep checking your hcg levels to make sure they are rising properly.  It may too early to see anything on an u/s, but I would get into see the doctor as soon as possible.  I really don't know the odds or percentages of losing pregnancies after 3+ miscarraiges, but I would work closely with your doctor to monitor things.  If it does end, then I would  have him run tests on you to see what is going on.  I don't know though if things are done differently in the UK than what they are in the US.  I m/c in December and am now almost 6 weeks pregnant and I worry too.  I would just speak with your doctor.  Best of Luck.

I know that most doctors wont perform any tests until a women has had 2-3 miscarriages, but I really don't know what they test for.  If this one doesn't last, then I would definitly request them to run tests to see why you aren't able to carry.  You know you can get pregnant, it's just keeping the pregnancy that is the issue.  How long did your previous pregnancies last??
