i had a ectopic pregnancy about 5 months ago. im pregnant again and scarred

I had a ectopic pregnancy about 5 months ago. I ended up having to take the shot to not loose my tube. I just found out 3 days ago that I am pregnant again. I am so scared that I will have another ectopic! My doctor had me come in that day so they could start checking my blood levels. I went back yesterday and the nurse said that my levels was low but that could be that im not that far along (which I dont think I am). I have had a few cramps in my lower abdomin and in the middle of my belly! The cramps are not bad but they are there every now and then. I have not started bleeding as of yet! I hope so bad I dont! Am I having another ectopic?

Hi
So please saw this post,
I am going through the same thing, I had an eptopic Dec last year and recently found out pregnant.
Not 100% sure how far along I am - my last period was very light.
so could be 5 weeks or longer (hope longer)
I am sure every twinge i get - i get completely out of proportion and think the worst.
I had my left tube removed and have had slight cramps (i think) in the side the tube was removed.
I am waiting for a internal exam tommorrow (cant wait, I need to know its in the right place this time)
Fingers crossed, I havnt been able to sleep since i found out !!!!

how low did she say they were?  i myslef has 2 previous MC's and i am pregnant again right now, very early only 4 weeks and 3 days.  My first beta level last friday was only 46 which is low but that was because i was only 3 weeks along, but the main thing is you need your levels to rise.  when are they checking them again?

Thank you! I too look everytime I wipe to make sure there isn't anything.  I am waiting on a call back to make sure my levels are rising.  Then my first appointment isn't for another 3 weeks, which is about the time I started spotting with my las m/c so I'm hoping to make it!  The cramps for me get worse at night, but I read in What to Expect When Expecting that sometimes that will happen because of all the foods eaten earlier in the day that may have caused more gas and bloating.  I also had period like cramps that started like 3 weeks before my m/c, but at the time I just thought my period was late and I kept thinking it was about to start - so I hope since these are same symptoms its just because I am pregnant again and now symptoms for a miscarriage.  One of my friends that has 2 kids said that she would get cramps all through her pregnancy and even after she delivers.  But, like I said, don't hesitate to go to the ER if you are concerned.

Thank you so much for replying back! I'm sure you are scared to! Having a ectopic pregnancy was horrible for me and my husband! Not knowing whats going on, hoping and praying that my levels would double! I just pray that this pregnancy is normal! everytime I go to the bathroom Im scared to death there will be blood! The pains that I am having are like a little throb pain here and there! If that makes since! I hope your pregnancy goes well! Good Luck!

Cramping is normal during pregnancy, I had a m/c in December and am now pregnant again.  I am too worried and have been having period like cramping.  Part of it I think is excess gas and constipation though! But you should keep in contact with your doctor about your cramping and not hesitate to go to the ER.  It's really hard to tell if its ectopic or not because everyone's bodyies react differently to pregnancy.  Good Luck with everything.
