I had a vaginal delivery and I had a 3+ tear (had a big baby)...its been over 4 weeks and I am still very sore! They told me it would take at least 6 weeks to heal maybe longer. So I expected it to hurt...its like a raw feeling...itches and sometimes I get sharp pains down there. So yes, still very sore! Some days are sorer than others!

I had a laparotomy at 3 months pregnant.  That is like a c-section, but without the uterus cut.

Believe me it takes about 3 months for everything to heal up completely and feel normal.  I still have stomach pain now (7 months later) but they say that's due to adhesions..... don't let that scare you most people don't have problems like that.  But, it will take a while to feel completely ok again.  Be patient.  4 weeks is not long in the recovery timetable when it comes to major abdominal surgery, which is what a c-section is.

I had a c section 6 weeks ago and it still bothers me. I just cant wait till I can sleep on my stomach. Since I am a stomach sleeper.

I had a c section 5 weeks ago and it is still uncomfortable for me sometimes when i roll over in bed or move certain ways.....near my incision and in my pelvic region. I would imagine that its going to take quite some time being that it is considered major abdominal surgery!
