Not trying to complain!? Who's in the same boat??

So, I dont take anything too much to heart because I dont want anyone to think that I am the type of person that just likes to complain and has all of these "complaints" or "ailments", but lately, I have just been completely off. I dont know if its just me...or if anyone else is feeling like this...but I am SORE as H E L L!!! Literally...I cant grocery shop for more than a 1/2 hour without my back feeling like its going to give out. My ankles have been getting swollen lately....When I sit on the couch, I have to have a huge pillow behind my back and my feet up so that my back doesnt feel like its going to kill me while I just sit there. I am having a VERY HARD TIME sleeping. Nothing is comfortable..and I mean NOTHING! I wake up so many times a night and I just feel like nothing can go my way.

Is anyone else feeling like this or am I just a whiner...this is my first so I dont know what comes with the third trimester, but its not fun so far for me. Im wiped out..exhausted...no energy for much of anything lately!
I have also been very crampy lately....almost menstrual feeling crampy..is this normal??

Any insight lately would be much appreciated!
Hope everyone is doing well!

Me too definately. I am so torn between wanting them to stay in and be the healthiest they can be and just wanting them out period!! Hang in there.

I'm in the same boat, too. I feel like I'm going to give birth any day now, but I'm only 32 weeks!
The last stretch is the hardest...mentally, emotionally AND physically. Just keep reminding yourself that the end result is well worth it, even though there are times when you feel you could just throw in the towel. Nothing wrong with a little whining every now and then, though. When your body feels like it has been hit by a Mack truck while you're extremely sleep deprived, you can't help but feel a little whiny and hopeless! LOL

On top of all the last week stuff, I'm having to take care of my 20 month old son who is JUST now getting his molars! He is miserable and cranky, and has good nights and bad nights. A bad night makes my night THAT much worse! So be glad you're not having to deal with that, too! :-)

Yes...I am right there with all of you...my whole back hurts, my eyesight has gotten worse...can't even wear contacts anymore, the baby is getting sooo big...he is more rollling then kicking, and it hurts sometimes....little contractions here and there, that hurt...more discharge...sweat and can't sleep at night...swollen hands and feet when I eat something salty!!  I can't wait for this to be over.....My husband won't even have sex with me anymore, because he read that it can induce labor...I saw bring it on!!

Well, I am relieved to hear that I am not the only one feeling this way. My husband must think I am a complainer, and hes the type of guy who says "I could do it anyday" (if he only knew what we went through, maybe he will get the picture in the delivery room, lol).

Well, I guess I will just have to stick it out another 9 weeks. My mom thinks that I am starting to drop, she says I am definetely lower than I was a week or two ago, so, we will see!
I wouldnt mind her a couple days early..but not too early!

my feet just swelled for the first time saturday and they looked like flinstone/shrek feet.  i thought it was kind of funny because they looked so odd but did not hurt me.

i have found that i am a lot tired faster but not enough to want to get the pregnancy over with.  i feel he is much safer inside right now and i am so nervous about being a parent all of a sudden that i would handle all the aches and pains to keep him in there til at least his due date.

my hands have been going numb though which i do not care for because i hate pins and needle feeling.  my left breast also leaked 3 times which had to be one of the most awkward things ever.

Hi,

My first too.

Yep, fraid it's normal.  I feel like a beached whale.  Have resorted to benadryl once in a while just to get a goodd night's sleep.  Nothing like tossing and turning all night despite being exhausted, and the tossing and turning hurts, cause my back aint the happiest part of my body around.  Now it's starting to hurt at the front when i walk!  Plus feel like my tummy's going to fall through my pelvis, it's so heavy!  Anyway, this just means our bodies are getting ready for baby.

Have really swollen lower legs and my hands also swell now.  So bad I wear compression stocking to bed nights now to help keep it under control (really helps).  Plus I have the joy of testing blood sugar like 6 times a day and giving myself insulin shots, and now have bruises all over my thighs as a result.

Hey, but it's all going to be so worth it when baby's here.  Not long to go!

I am in the exact same boat as you minus the swelling but instead have nausea and dizziness. I defin feel this last few weeks are gonna be long and tough. I saw my dr. today and they told me this is all normal and to hang in there. Easy for them to say lol.

But honestly you just need to hang in there the best you can. Relax as often as you can. Soak in the tub it helps. And know its almost over....
