Is anyone goin to wait to have there shower after the baby is born or sometime after you find out what it's supposed to be? I think I'm goin to wait till after born cause my stepsister was supposed to have a girl from all tests and ultrasounds till the day Max her SON was born! Big Surprise! And they had all girl stuff!! And believe me, he is ALL boy!

I already have mine scheduled for Dec. 13 because we are doing it at my mother's clubhouse and since it's around Christmas she wanted to make sure we could reserve it.  I can't wait until a month before because I need to make sure I'm prepared, especialliy since I will be off for magternity leave we want to make sure we have money to buy what we need.  I am depending on my baby shower for a lot of what we need, so I couldn't wait until after the birth.

I think I am having mine on around the 14th Jan. My ultrasound to find out the sex of my bub is less than a week away now (I'll be 20w3d) and ultrasounds from 18 weeks onwards are much more reliable than earlier ones. Occasionally they do get it wrong, but not very often. I think that it is worth the risk. If you are worried, then specify on the invites that you do not want any clothing as a gift. There are still plenty of things that can be bought- Blankets, bottles, toys, nappies, towels, mobiles, bibs, creams, soaps, wipes, nappy bag, playmat, rocker, jollyjumpers and much more. Having your shower before baby comes will help you save money and then you will know what is left that you will need to buy. I definitely recommend it.

OMG NOO! That is too bad all girl stuff but it was a boy? Oh now I'm terrified. I was given the o-k to go shopping for pink already, she told me she is guaranteed a girl, no question 100%! Now i'll be worried DARN! I'm mostly concerned with how they thought it was a girl? And i had a 3d ultrasound done, shouldn't that be more reliable seeing as you see EVERYTHING there is to see with such great quality???

=(  Now im scared...
