Had 10 WK U/S on Monday

I went on Monday for an U/S due to having some mucus like discharge over the weekend. My doctor said it was normal and the ndid the U/S. I saw my precious little baby moving around in my stomach like a track star. Neither the doctor nor the nurse could believe how active this little one was. He/she is just an unbelieveable miracle for myself and my hubby. Unfortunately he could not be there for this scan, but he vowed to video tape the next one. :-) I think I may have the next olympic track star in my belly. I have exactly 2 weeks until my Cerclage is put in and I will feel so much more comfortable. But Imust admit that each time I see my baby, I get more and more optmistic. I can't wait to meet my baby.

I'm so glad to hear everyone is going great... Besides the nasty headaches I have been getting I am doing great too.... My next appt is on Aug 6th and it can't come soon enough... I can't wait to hear mybaby's heart beat again... Thursday was a year anniversary since my last m/c so this is a bitter sweet time for me. I am three weeks behind what I was last week so I can't wait to get past the point of m/c last time...
I have a much better feeling this time though...
Glad to know all is well Mrs. Gordon!!!! You deserve this!!!

Some days I don't have m/s and some days I do. Initially, I had no symptoms other than sore breasts. You will be fine. Enjoy not having m/s because soon it may come back and leave you stranded in the bathroom. :-)

That is not a silly question at all. A Cerclage is a stich placed completely around the cervix which is then tightened like the base of a balloon to keep the baby inside of my womb for the duration of the pregnancy. It is necessary due to my history of incompetent cervix. I am very thankful that I have managed to get this far. My last two pregnancies ended prior to 7 weeks. I am almost 11 weeks and thrilled. I truly feel that God is smiling down on us and that we will have this baby.

That's great news.  My m/s actually started going away the past few days, so that makes me kinda nervous now.  I know that each women is different and there is no specific time for m/s to start, but I guess it was just a nice daily reminder that things were ok.  I still get some breast tenderness and a lot of back pain.  My next appointment/ u/s is August 7, so it can't come any quicker!
