any second timers with C-sections?

I am due for my c-section in 24 days and I am starting to freak out a bit.  Anybody had one before that can give me a play by play from being cathed to spinal block to after?  Thanks in advance for the advice!

I am having my second c-section on February 16th. I had my last one on February 3, 2009. Everything went great. The doctors will take care of you. I was very hesitant and very nervous when I was told I had to have one for non progressive labor and high BP. I started dry heaving when they told me I had to have one, my nerves went through the roof. I am still nervous for this one...only because I hate being in hospitals.....hate surgery, etc. Express your concerns with your doc, they will put your mind at ease.

im not due in feb (june) but i had my second c 2 yrs ago.  it was much easier than my first, after pushing for hours.  i went in to the surg room.  they gave me a spinal wish was so different than my first surg.  i wasnt as numb, and i was afraid id feel it but it was perfectly fine.  then they cathed me (i was so lucky, the nurses learning watched through a window lol), then the drs did their thing.  i went to recovery for an hour and then to my room.  pain wasnt bad, i was up walking in less than 8 hours and ready to go home the next morning lol.
