My baby turned one on the 19th! I can't believe how fast time has flown by, it just seems like yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital. We had a small party for her just close friends and family, Minnie Mouse themed. I made for her a Minnie Mouse face cake from scratch (insert surprised tone lol) and a whole bunch of Minnie Cake Pops that were a hit! Even though I had planned for months and started all the prep work days before, I was still frosting my cake when guest started arriving. Thank God for my parents, my mom helped me finish the frosting on my cake and my dad was entertaining the guest. My hubby was taking care of Sophia. What a stressful day time just went by too quickly. Im going to start planning for next year lol

It's so crazy to think all of our babies have turned 1!!! Mine turned 14 months old today and breaks my heart that they're growing up so fast!

That sounds awesome.  We are having Ella's birthday today but her birthday isn't till Tuesday.  We are just having snack foods and that's about it.  Next year its going to be a hungry jacks (burger king) party because this is way too stressful.  My other two have their birthdays on the 3rd April and 5th May!!!!  Its going to be expensive lol

Sounds like a cool party and lots of hard work! Glad it was a success. We had a small party on laurens birthday but the big party is tomorrow.  I wanted a different theme than princess or what ever so I ran across pink skull and crossbones.  I know it sounds crazy but its really cute!  We got little pink pirate birthday hats and eye patches for the kids.  We also have a banner with her picture on it, plates and centerpiece have her picture.
