Hey - my southern @$$ survived three years in Chicago and a trip back every year since I left :-) I actually loved walking down Michigan during a light snow while Christmas shopping. Can't say Annabelle would be too keen, however.
I'm game for any time! But yes winter is probably not a good idea. Y'all from the south may enjoy seeing the snow but only for a few minutes until you freeze your @$$ off ;)
Labor Day weekend would be super expensive for those of us having to fly.
So what month works the best for everyone? I'm getting married on July 30th so anything around that does not work for me. What about August? Or labor Day weekend, which is a super long weekend for us working mommies.
I think Chicago has the most votes... im willing to go but NOT in the winter!! lol!!
I agree that the little ones are a little young for orlando. I'm still shooting for Chi town! Sun- A BBQ at your house sounds FANTASTIC!
Orlando wouldn't be fun for the little ones for a few years yet :(
I vote for Orlando Florida!!!
Sun-- as long as you have room for me :-)
Trying-- where are you? I'm in Katy/Richmond area. Small world!
Yummy Hispanic food, one of my favs!!!
If y'all come here I'll host a BBQ for all of us and free "pony" rides on the dogs for the babies ;)
im kind of liking the chicago idea, specially the dinner on sun lol... if you're all willing to come down to miami i will be glad to treat you all to dinner :D yummy hispanic food :D
We r neighbors! I am 35 miles north of Beaumont and about 80 miles from houston.
Lol Trh so true. Wish I had a huge house to put everyone up at!!
If we meet in Chicago, dinner will be on Sun since she'll have no travel expenses. HA!
The Shedd is amazing! And we have two zoo's. Brookfield Zoo has the best dolphin show :D Lincoln Park Zoo is free, all the museums have free days too. There is also The Childrens Museum which is fabulous it's all interactive play for children of all ages
I love the Chicago idea! There's Navy pier, Shedd Aquarium, Planetarium, Museums, ect. I'm in Michigan.
Texas is super friendly I love that chivalry isn't dead in Texas!
im in ontario sounds like a great idea!!!
Texas is all kinds of friendly :-)
I'm a Chicago girl. Come visit our city! :)
Orlando was a ton of fun. NYC just got back from and NOT kid friendly. The cabs refuse you service bc of a child, hotels don't have cribs, the subway is all stairs, you can't do sit down places to eat they won't seat you with a baby. People literally ran into Ellie while she was in my arms! San Diego was a blast loved surfing there the zoo was amazing too. Texas is fun, NC has beautiful beaches. I've been a lot of places love traveling.
