Anyone else getting unwanted questions/comments?

Ok so as most of you know we are having twins. This is my first pregnancy and I am just starting to show at 16 weeks. What irritates me is the people that say to me "your small for having twins!". So are they saying that they think something is wrong with my babies?? I think some people need to keep their comments to themselves. My personal favorite was last week I was chatting with a stranger who just so happened to be a midwife. Well I told her we were expecting twins and she said "Oh, im sorry". I thought, HOW RUDE!!! Maybe its just my hormones but that pist me off. Then I said "Well we are very excited" and she had the nerve to say "That's just because they aren't here yet". Anyone else getting rude/unwanted comments??

Sorry if I was venting a bit.............. :)

Sunworshipper I wouldn't worry about not gaining weight.  With my son I didn't gain weight until after christmas and my son was born may 5th so I would have been about 20 weeks.

But I do agree.... Some people can be rude lol

Haha sorry your post made me laugh. Yes, is very annoying to get these comments from people and especially when they dont know you or live near you! Are your hormones turning you into a bit%$ too? Because there are days where I try to avoid people so I dont tear their heads off. The slightest thing can ruin my mood. I never used to be like that! I know we should just ignore the comments but if we dont say anything then the people will think it's okay to do what they are doing. Atleast if we come off as a complete bit$% than people will understand it's the pregnancy talking :)

And i'll kick some @sses for you too!!

I just thought of you lil lady!  My MIL said something about I'm glad you are thinking about food seriously wanted to rip her head off!  If one more person comments on my eating or implies that I don't eat I'm going to go psycho hormonal B I T C H on them!!!  Yes ive been sick yes I've only gained one pound but I DO EAT! and my on doesn't care that I've only gained 1 pound so all those food critics out there can bite me. So to answer your question YES I've experienced unwanted comments. I actually told my MiL what she said bothered me bc she implied that I don't eat and I do.

Lil lady if you want I'll kick some @sses for you too :)

I'm a very private person, so pretty much every comment and question related to my pregnancy is unwanted - except those from my medhelp friends of course. :)  So it's hard for me to have a personal situation that I can't hide.

I'm like spirit... I'm 14 weeks 4 days and I get, "That's it?" I haven't gained an ounce. In fact, I'm one pound under, but my belly is growing like crazy.

lil_lady... We are all super duper excited for you, so don't waste another second of energy on the inconsideration of others.

Lol...I am just past my 13th week mark and I am already looking 5mos pregnant. I hear all the time.."Wow...you're big for just 3mos". I always tell someone something crazy cuz I figured if they are going to say something RUDE or HURTFUL I will be just as callous back. Just last week a friend of my mother-in-law's said, "If your only 3mos then you must be having twins or one big baby cuz you're huge". I laughed it off and said.."Nope..I just swallowed a watermelon cuz I got really hungry!"

But seriously...the comments on your twins were harsh and rude. I think people should keep negative comments and opinions to themselves because not everyone thinks what they think and it is just their opinion and "opinions vary"

I am with SunWorshiper_26 on her comment...having twins is "freakin exciting"!

OMG I cannot believe that people would say that to you!!!  I don't think it's hormones those comments are rude!!  :(. Big hugs to you!  It doesn't matter what size your tummy is it matters how the babies are growing WHICH YOU CANNOT SEE FROM THE SIZE OF YOUR TUMMY!!  And twins that IS freakin exciting!!!  And seriously even if you aren't a twins person then keep your mouth SHUT. Like they always say, if you don't have anything nice to say than don't say anything at all. I am SO sorry that people have said these things to you :(
