We started the twins on baby food about 3 weeks ago and they're doing great. We're on the last vegetable choice (carrots) and so far, so good :) By far though, the favorite between them both has been sweet potatoes! Next week, we're moving on to the fruits. Can't wait for them to get a taste of the sweetness.
Try tylenol and the oragel naturals. The oragel naturals is safe and Tylenol will help too with pain. You can peel a cucumber and put it in the fridge then put it in a mesh bag and let her bite away. The mesh bag is important to help avoid choking. Babies 4-6 months are especially vulnerable to choking so we need to be extra careful that they can't bite big pieces or get any seeds in their mouths.
I got the mesh bags at Target in the baby food isle by the spoons and bowls.
You can also use teething rings or put your finger in there and apply gentle pressure
Amy had tomato to suck on today... her tooth is making her a miserable baby at certain times of day... and i go through more than three bibs yesterday because she soaks them in saliva.. anyone know of anything i can give her at this age?
I have the mesh bag for fruit and plan to use that. Annabelle is 3 months now but we plan to wait to 6 months to introduce solids. I like seeing what others are doing, however, and what you're trying out first.
my lil girl is only 2 months... i think my baby is the youngest baby here. lol
Lauren tried plain potato she didn't like it so much. She loves iced tea. I know bad mommy! Lol I gave her a little and she sucked it down and cried when I wouldn't give her more.
