First vacations
Any vacation plans? Where is your little ones first trip to? How are you getting there? What do you planning on doing there?
We took our first road trip. Annabelle was a great little traveler. She slept both going and coming home. She watched the wedding totally alert and never made a peep. She even went to sleep in the hotel in her pack n' play with no issue and slept 10 hours. I still can't imagine traveling by plane and not sure I want to just yet, but she was wonderful in the car!
We survived the North Dakota trip! The twins were AMAZING the entire trip! They had their meltdowns, but they timed them perfectly! They always had them right before we reached our destination for the day! Our next big conquering trip will be on a plane...but who knows when that will be.

Luckily Ellie isn't too off on her schedule even with the time change and having to take all her naps in her stroller on the go in busy loud NYC. We lucked out! The night we got back she slept five hours straight then she was up very two hours but since then is back in her routine. I was really surprised at how well she did and that she didn't even fuss on the plane at all. She's like her mommy I guess, planes put us to sleep lol

We took our twin girls to KY for Easter and drive the 6 1/2 hours to get there. They were complete angels the way there but were a little fussier the way home. The downfall of taking baby out of it's comforted environment is that their sleep patterns will be off when you return home. My girls were sleeping through the night before our trip and when we returned they went back to getting up every 3 hours. It's taken several weeks but i'm finally getting them back to sleeping through the night. I'm a lucky momma!

Trh how awesome you and your hubby get summers off together and get to enjoy the beach :D Congrats on your house and car!!

This coming Wednesday 05/25, we're taking a trip from Valdosta, GA all the way to Minot, ND (and we're driving!) for my brother's wedding next weekend. I'm still not sure if we're crazy for attempting this, but I'll let you know when we get back! hahah!
We recently made an 800 mile trip because my dad was sick. Not a fun trip. For our real vacation we r going to yellowstone national park for two weeks. We are going in our van and pulling our travel trailer. We hope to do some hiking and there are a couple of museums we want to visit.
Mommy0124 Emily is really good with car rides too. I usually visit my parents almost every weekend and they live 1hr away from us.
trh0819 congrats on ur new home and car. Hubby and I are saving up to buy a house soon I hope. For the end of this year if not the beggining of next year. I'm so excited. :)

I agree with Roxy - wouldn't that be something for all of us to meet with our little miracles?!?
We've not traveled yet but have a wedding out of town in two weeks. It's only 3 hours away so we're driving and I don't expect it to be much of a hassle. No big travel plans with her but we bought a new house and new car recently so we're likely taking this year off from vacation. We do, however, live close enough to the beach so during the summer we make trips weekly for the day just to get away. I know that's not as exciting as what you guys have planned, but it will be a start :-) My husband and I both teach so we get lots of time together and this summer will be extra special since it will be the first with our sweet Annabelle!

she hasnt been on a plane... she has actually been a really good camper through all our car rides though!! shes a really good baby i really cant complain... she was too little when we went but we have the platinum passes where we can go to all the busch owned parks so we took advantage of it...

that is awesome... amy traveled from va to ga at 1month then to fl at 1 1/2 month we went to seaworld then) and will travel back to fl end of june and hopefully to colombia our country of origin when hubby comes back....
We are flying to New York City next week for five days for my brother in laws wedding. Hoping to see all the sights and this mama is hoping for some major shopping!!!
