Oh man you guys have me nervous now! I might have to pack now lol! I've heard for coming home pack something that fit you at approx 4-5 months :). Slippers, great idea lil lady!!
Also heard pack diaper wipes bc many hospitals expect you to use water on a towel which doesn't work well for their first poop.
I'm probably going to start packing in the next few weeks. Although my twins are scheduled to be delivered towards the end of January, I just want to be prepared JUST in case!!!!
Ya I was thinking like that too cause you never know when you could be put on bedrest or go into pre term labour..... I got me and the baby matching going home outfits lol they are zebra print and his hat has the mane and ears it's so cute
I figured that I wouldnt pack until the middle/end of January JUST IN CASE and oh boy do I wish I would have had a bag packed by now. I was admitted into the hospital Wednesday and have had to have hubby run back and forth to the house for little odds and ends that I felt like I needed. One thing to not forget is a comfy pair of slippers. They provide you some socks but they are the furthest from cute and are so thick they make my feet sweat. I dont think thats its ever too soon to begin packing because you truly never know when your little bundle of joy could be here. Another thing not to forget it an outfit to bring home baby in and also an outfit for you to wear home. I will be having a c-section so i'm wearing my maternity pants home for comfort. I dont think I could fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes afterwards if I wanted to anyways.
I will probably pack when my contractions start. I'm glad I read that because I didn't even think about getting new born nappies lol so I will have to get them soon. I'm getting braxton hicks quite a bit now which is nice because I'm starting to relax through them if that makes sense which will help me when I go into labour.
I'm scheduled for delivery on Valentine's Day and praying I make it that far-- or at least until February 2nd because Feb 1 is my last day of work. But I'm an over planner and told my husband that I wanted everything ready to go by the end of our Christmas break. So before I return to school on January 4, I'll have my bag stored away and the house ready for baby. My hoping is that I'll not need any of it if it's all sitting there and ready to go early :-)
i think I will do it in mid Jan the latest cause I had my first at 37 weeks and I will be 37 jan 20ish and with this one my Dr is going to induce me a week early cause I requested it cause of my second son who has autism was overdue....
me too. end of jan/beginning of feb. im due in mid feb.
I figure the end of Jan since I'm not due till Feb :)
