We had our twins get them. They were born at the height of the season for the shots & they definitely qualified. They got them December - March. Where we live, the "season" is October - April. The doctor told us though, this year, they probably wouldn't qualify since they're a lot bigger.
I could pay out of pocket but luckily no outbreak here so they aren't as worried. That's wonderful that they did it for free reall nice!
Ellie is 12 pounds 14 oz. Somedays I worry she is behind and others I'm not. I'm not sure where she is.
What are her developmental milestones? Hows her sleeping?
Would they let you pay out of pocket for you if you wanted it? Just curious. My insurance company called my dr.s office the day before her shot to tell them they denied it this time! I spent hours on the phone with Cigna trying to find out WHY they would deny it. Finally they told me to have my dr.s office call them and after a while my dr.s office called me and told me to just bring her in and they would do it for free. They said mine was the only one to deny it!! I am soooo mad. I at least would have hoped they would have called me sooner and told me that they weren't going to do it so I could have paid the stupid $1,600 and ordered it.
Most places RSV has already left the community so I am sure little Ellie is just fine now :) How much does she weigh now? Cassidy was 12 pounds when they weighed her, I just wish she wasn't so far behing in doing things. I thought she may catch up but she is definitly lagging the 7-8 weeks behind that she was early :(
