Well my hubby and I have decided this year we are going to get out of debt!!!!!! We have accumulated so much debt and now it is time to start saving to get rid of it all. My hubby has started a second casual job which will give us the extra money to get it paid off.
We have decided that this year we are all for ourselves and are only doing things that benefit ourselves and our children and not everyone else. I think a part of my depression was keeping everyone else happy and this year it is going to stop!!!!!!!
We're all about ourselves and our family!!!!!!
Getting out of debt is over rated! Lol joking....we have done it three times(still didn't learn!) That's also on our list too. Luckily we have about 6 bills to pay off and we r done! Hubby is also looking at going back for his masters or to law school. Forgot to add that too!
lol I think getting out of debt is definately over rated. We have racked about 9000 in hps and credit cards!!!! It is pretty scary to think about it but if we are good we should get it paid off by the end of the year.
I am looking at going to work one day a week at the end of this financial year. I don't want it messing with my family assistance so that is why I am waiting and I am trying to prepare myself mentally. I am excited and nervous all the same but the pay is really good!!!!!! and would give us an extra 200 a week for one days work once you pay daycare and take off what we would loose with family assistance.
This year I have started my doctoral internship to finish my PhD. I think other than that things are about the same :). Oh and Ellie started school. It's a mommy n me program to start her Jewish education. We have really enjoyed our first class. Ellie got to do circle time songs music, paint and snack time. It was so cute to see her sitting at those little chairs at the table! She loves it and so do I.
Well, the first half of my year is being spent without my hubby. He's been deployed to Afghanistan since November and he's not coming back until the very end of May.
The one thing we're setting a goal for by the time he gets back is to get a bigger vehicle. With the babies growing so much and the stuff it requires to go and do at times, our smaller car won't do. Just saving as much money and hoping to get the new vehicle in the summer!
Other than that, just wanting to have a fantastic year with the babies and watch them experience and learn a whole new set of things! As much as I miss them being infants, I'm excited for them to walk, talk, and just turn into little people!
So this wasn't really a goal or plan for the new year, but for whatever reason I decided this weekend that I am definitely ready for another baby. Now all I have to do is get the husband on board. :)
