i found out at 17 weeks that i was having a boy from a 3D/4D ultrasound place i went to... and looking at the pictures you could definitely see clearly the boy parts. i think it all depends on how your baby is developing... my suggesting is stick with the 18-20weeks to get a better result.
My last appt, I was 15wk2d and the technician asked me if the babies were in a good position, would I want to know the gender and I said yes :) Found out it was a boy & girl!
I was about 13 weeks and told it was a boy. I had another u/s done 2 weeks later and still boy. He was born a healthy baby boy!!! My sis n law is 16 weeks and they just did an u/s and it is a girl! It also depends on the equipment they are using. In the Dr.s office my sis n laws uses they are 3d all the time
When I was 16wks with my second son they said they were 80% sure he was a she. At my 20wks scan we found out without a doubt that he was for sure a he (couldnt have been mistaken...lol). I went to ER last night and the u/s tech was thinking I am having a girl but said later u/s may show different but she wasnt thinking it would. I want a girl but I am not buying anything or getting hopes up until my 20wk scan to make sure =))
I am currently 14wks 3days!
My cousin was told boy at 14 weeks and it came out with a vagina.... I would think it's still 50/50 at that point cause it's really hard to tell still cause the clitoris and penis are about the same size at that point
14 weeks is about the earliest you can find out. Often times OB's do it at the 18-20wk scan at that point they measure all the bones and such to make sure baby is growing fine. The further along the more accurate there are some people who have been told girl or boy only to find out at 30 weeks or even birth that it's the opposite (though this is very rare).
