baby position

Almost 29 wks and the baby is still transverse, with the head on my right side and feet on left.  Its weird cause when I lay down, there's no bump above my belly button yet, just a mound below it.  Its laying so low, right at my pelvic bone; I thought it would have moved up and turned around by now.  Anyone else have experience with this position?

I just worry because he/she is so active but has never left this position.  That is, since I've been able to tell where it is. This also was the position for the 19wk ultrasound.  Couldn't tell what sex it was and even hid its face from view.  Not fair.  I sure hope it decides to get into the right postion.  I had a vaginal birth the 1st time and would rather do that again.  I couldn't tell with the 1st what position he was in, but this one is so obvious, especially when I lay down.  Got a kick out of the twins stacked like bunk beds, lil_lady25. :)

my baby always seems like shes on the left side of me and there is a huge lump also. there were a few nights where she was kicking each of my hips and my ribs, she much have been sideways. then a lot of times I feel like shes in breach with her feet kicking me down low. I feel a lot of wavy type feelings too instead of kicks. and you can see her 'roll' around in there. :) its so cute.

My baby is head down but sometimes I swear I feel him in the transverse position.  I think if you've had more than one baby they tend to move around a lot more at this point.  Once you get to 30wks or so, I think the baby chooses it's position but it can flip at any time but more likely than not it stays.  My breech baby didn't change from 28wks.  I had a c-section.

If I remember corerctly my son was in the position till gosh knows when.  I do believe they still have space to move so I wouldn't be too concerned.

I'll find out on Monday where my baby is. It's been almost 8 weeks since my last u/s so this should be quite telling. And I can feel movement but have only had one or two really strong kicks so I'm not sure what position the baby in. Should I know this on my own? Hmmmmm

My son was breech the entire time, as well as this baby is.  Mine happend to be due to my half of uterus.  I am SO glad I didn't attempt the version.  We didn't know about my uterus condition with my son but my gut told me since he never moved the whole pregnancy not to try the version.  During my c-section my dr. told me it could have killed him.  NOT saying not to try it IF you get to that point but do know all the risks.

There is still so much time for the baby to move though  :)
