Just curious

As mothers to little ones born in February, what are you all excited most about having a baby in February and what are you just dreading? :)

Delilah congratulations on the 5 year anniversary! I agree, totally looking forward to the holiday season! My birthday is two days before Christmas which is always interesting lol. Then a few days later it's my grandma's birthday and then my grandparent's anniversary.  I think this year will be 57 years for them, one closer to their Golden Anniversary! And two months later they'll have their first great grandchild!

By boy is due on 2nd and on the 9th my daughter will have her 2nd birthday so I'm looking forward to celebrating double birthdays in future. I'm also happy that after first few weeks of recovery and getting use to having a newborn at home we will have spring and better weather.

I'm really hoping my little girl comes a few weeks before her due date. Enough that she's full developed but February is usually an ugly month weather wise.
Newmommy2_5 my coworker is from Florida and this is her first winter in Chicago. She's dreading the driving in snow, she just never learned. Her expertise is driving in sand. Lol poor girl. I also have family in Virginia and whenever it snows even an inch literally everything in their city shuts down.

I'm worried about snow as well. I live in the south, and we don't handle it that well. If I go into labor at work,  that week be even worse!! I'm so happy to be having a little bundle of joy,  no matter when she arrives, however. She could be born in January,  who knows.

I agree, February isn't the greatest month. But now I have someone to make it great! I live in Chicago and the weather here is always flip floppy not matter the season. We're actually supposed to have a horrible cold and snowy winter. Our summer here consisted of temps mainly in the mid 70s when usually it's mid to upper 80s and plenty of 90s. We only had a few 90s.
Brit218 I'm so happy for you! I think if my little girl decides to pop out on Valentine's Day she'll milk it at school when she gets older lol

I think February is the most depressing month... usually weather is bad and no one has any money... so would be good to have something nice happening in February :)
