Glucose Test

I have a glucose test in 9 hours but I'm having bad back pain and a hot shower didn't help. I was wondering if I took 1 Tylenol if it would effect my test?

With my 3 hour test it was a compete fast. Nothing by mouth for like 12 hours. Just follow doctors instructions about that because you don't want to mess up that test.
Maybe you could try a heating pad or icy hot on your back.

You can eat but nothing with sugar

I was allowed to eat and drink within 2 hrs of test

It must depend site to site because I could take Zofran even during my 3 hour test- I could eat with the 1 hour. Hope you're feeling better.

I had this test last week.  you can't take anything im afraid because everything you swallow affects your blood sugar which will ultimately affect the result if your test.
take something to read with you because they usually like you to stay on site for the duration of the test.
