any other epileptic mom's or mom's to be?

I'm 29 weeks,5 days today anddd I'm worried about going into labor I tried talking to my neurologist about my concerns( new dr) my original dr is to far and this guy was very dismissive made me extremely  uncomfortable, however I did find out that I would not be able to breast feed so I'm happy he told me my medications effects on breast milk, I know it varies from person to person how epilepsy  effects them... but as far as going into labor should I be concerned? I do have a specialist who is delivering my baby but I've seen him once.... and he doesn't seem to care much

I miss my old neuro doctor I was seeing him since I was a kid, then once he retired had a younger doctor in his place I wasn't thrilled about him but I'm thinking switching doctor because I feel somewhat off about this new doctor I don't know if maybe because he's younger or just I'm being a b**** because I liked my old doctor better!

You could even do both? Brest milk and formula? In that way you can somewhat bond with the baby?,

Yeah when I was first diagnosed I was on Dilantin aswell at the time I hadn't seen a neurologist had to wait about... a yr and a bit, but it inflamed my liver, my former neurologist  ( really nice guy I like him ) got me on Keppra as soon as I became pregnant  he recommended  I bot breast feed because it effects breast milk he did however tell me it depends on baby and it is safe to try to see if it effects baby girl, the new neurologist was rather dickish and insisted  I not try but then pulled the " if you want to you can but it's not recommended" ******** with me, so I decided it was for me and my fiance to discuss I told him it was safe to try and just to keep an eye on the baby  and see if it does effect her since there has been no studies done about how much of the medication  gets it to the breast milk..... but he's worried I'm on let's see 1500 mg's a day and I still have my off days so we came to the conclusion  that we won't be risking  it.... I'm a bit torn up about it, and I do want to try..... but I have to respect his opinions aswell abouts he respects mine.... the birthing... we're both worried about ....me having a natural birth is slim as is due to family history but my obgyn is pushing for me to try to, so I'm tried to get the new neurologist to maybe give my OB some insight on my condition  since as you said it is risky but yeah... he wasn't helpful just stated I may or may not have a seizure during labor it's completely  possible and left it at that.... unfortunately  my old neurologist  won't be moving to my area til March which really *****.....

I have seizure disorder was on dilatin when I was in my teens. My seizures happens by stress and heat. Now I'm on kepper currently baby #2 in Feb. I can breast feed with medications- I'm on so that's a plus! With my 1st child I was on dilatin had to be closely watched too, I wanted a natural birth but my neuro doctor said it would be to risky for my body to handle. With the epidural it helped me a lot keeled my body really cool down. If u dint like the doctor get someone you like!!!,
