stopping contractions

I am due feb 9th with my third child,  i have been in for having contractions 2-4mins apart 17days ago and was in thr hospital today for them... i am hoping my baby girl stay cooking.... they did stop all thr way but got them some what tamed....  i have had to get the shot to stop from contraxting....has anyonr else had this problem... just hope she holds off for two more weeks... atleast... but now i am only allowed to relax and shower and cook and take care of my two.boys but.mainly have feet up...

I got my contractions stopped with my last pregnancy but they have me a pill and I had to wait to see if it stopped them. When it didn't they have me the same medication they would give someone with high blood pressure they said that would do the same thing it does for my uterus that it does to someone with heart problems. Help relax it. I would get 1pill every 30min for two hrs.  The last resort was IV medication they said if that didn't work then I would go into labor. I was 26weeks.
