Anatomy scan ultrasound

Me and my husband are 20 weeks pregnant and we go for our 2nd ultrasound and they said it would be the anatomy scan. Will they tell us if it's a bit or a girl? We were told by the office that we couldn't find out unless we had a gender reveal scan but we've heard from several people that they we could find out but I just wondered if any of you have been told by the ultrasound tech what the gender was of your babies were at this ultrasound or if yall had to ask the ultrasound tech to tell you. Thanks so much ladies! We really want to find out and are so excited as this is our first baby:):)

They usually ask you at the beginning of the anatomy scan if you want to know so just tell them up front that you do. Sometimes Bub isn't in the right position but usually they can tell. Hope all goes well! :)

I just had my anatomy scan and the tech told me it was boy at 19weeks although I had already found out at 12 weeks because I did a chromosome testing that was covered by my insurance and they also be able to tell u the gender. I totally forgot the name of the test. But yes to your question they will be able to tell gender as long as baby cooperates and is in a good position
