I had it with my last pregnancy.  I walked in got on the IV drip of antibiotics.  The worst part was I had a super long labor which means I was on fluids for a long time. After 24 hours on fluids your baby will be slightly bigger from all that water weight. I finally had an emergency c section she she came out 7 lbs 14oz. I figure that she w I uldve been 7 12ish if it wasn't for the fluids.

I tested positive for it and I delivered my baby boy February 3. I was also terrified when I found out. Everything went great. I was given the antibiotics as soon as i got there and 4 hours later i got the 2nd dose. I got to go home the next day with my healthy baby boy. Good luck ladies wish you all the best and I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I tested positive as well, they told me not to worry that ill be on antibiotics and that they'll have the baby on observation for two nights.

But you know the best part of it all, is that it isn't a sexually transmitted disease, it is a common bacteria infection, and it can be treated. It doesn't mean you aren't healthy. But since I've been pregnant every test I've taken I've been concerned about, so i understand. You want to be your healthiest.

I tested negative for it, But don't be afraid. As long as you get the antibiotics your baby will be fine. The antibiotics will protect your little one from meningitis
